Food was excellent. Sauce is awesome for pasta and food is very fresh. Service was fast but inattentive. Waiter walked by numerous times and made no eye contact. I finally flagged down a staff member cleaning off tables to get drink refills. Waiter had a very indifferent attitude. With better service, this could have an excellent rating.

The service was great, the food was varied and very good. The menus were easy to follow with lot's of quality choices. You can tell the food is freshly prepared. The serving staff even filled our water bottles up before we left which was appreciated as it was very hot and humid that day.

We went here based on the ratings from Trip Advisor. Not that the food was bad but it was not a memorable dinner but it was ok. Better Italian food on LongIsland. I had the sea bass Bronzino which again was not bad but not flavorful. My sister got chicken pellegrini which she loved. No side of pasta or salad... More

Went to dinner Saturday night after drinks at One Mix (beautiful) and snacks as Ed's Lobster Bar (don't go). Got there a little ahead of res but they seated us right away. We ordered the Vitello Pellegrino and the Vitello Parmigiana. One word for both dishes: mouthgasm. I was about to say something after our first bite and my wife... More

Best lasagne in NYC. A little expensive on the wine front but all told, a great experience. One of those old style Italian restaurants that New York's Little Italy is famed for. Lunch outside on a sunny day is the best, watching the world walk by on Mulberry St.

First off, Pellegrino's has been our "go to" restaurant in Little Italy for years. We have recommended them to many friends and look forward to every visit. However, our most recent visit was the most disappointing. Our food was amazing, as usual. But when we asked about dessert, the manager told us the dessert tray was inside (we were sitting... More

My husband had the lasagna and I had the Fettuccine Giovanni. It was the best Italian food I've had. I also got the tiramisu and it was fantastic!

I felt welcomed from the 1st step into the door . After a long day of sightseeing this was an unexpected visit and highlight to end my day. The marinated portobello mushroom Antipasto was excellent. Thank You for a warm and wonderful and Authentic dining experience

Loved the vodka rigatoni and Alfredo. Even let the kids order off the menu! Not inexpensive but great food and service. I would definitely return.

Excellent, fast service. Food was delicious and they have gluten free items which makes it nice for my husband that has to follow a special GF diet. The only negative thing that turned me off was that the bathroom was dirty and the toilet was clogged and overflowing. The ground was sticky and they definatley need to be updated and cleaned up... Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
