Great service. Great venue. I loved my food, one of best Italian meals I've ever eaten. My wife, though, 'chose badly' and got a sloppy dish that you might be expected to be served by a 14-year-old making pasta for the very first time. So, have a great time but choose your food well!

We went to Pellegrino's in Little Italy and had a fabulous meal. I had the gluten free penne and loved it. The portion was too big for me to finish. My husband had the veal marsala and sopped up the gravy with bread. He said it was one of the best veal marasalas he ever had. One of our family... More

We ate here for lunch when we visited Little Italy. Great service, good food and wine. Maybe a little expensive for lunchtime, but I'm sure it's typical for the area. Fairly large outside seating area.

This meal really exceeded our expectations. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The service was great too. Our teenage son was a little overwhelmed by the menu. If your looking for spaghetti bolognese or pizza this isn't the place but if you're looking for a genuine Italian menu with a NY slant you'll love Pellegrinos.

We stopped in here for lunch on our recent trip to Little Italy. The food was very good. The gnocchi was some of the best I've ever had. Service was excellent and the food arrived super fast. You won't be disappointed!

Dined outside on a lovely evening. Both my wife and I had wonderful meals as well as some excellent appetizers. The menu is quite extensive, and as Italian as expected in Little Italy. The service was excellent, and added to the experience. In summary, a solid choice for Italian food in Little Italy. Also, Pelligrino's doesn't use street hawkers, the... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
