Cute Italian restaurant with romantic atmosphere. The service was exceptional. The food was good but not mindblowing. Highly recommended.

Coming back from Lower Manhattan decided to stop for lunch at Pellegrino's in Little Italy. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Service was more than adequate. We started with their mussels in white wine sauce. Both of us agreed they may have been the best we have ever eaten, so plump and juicy. Not over cooked. While it was not on... More

Horrible sour marinara, tasteless pasta, old (yesterday's or even older) side bread. For 30 usd minimum. Would not recommend to anyone. Probably, would not recommend little Italy places to anyone. Have not been able to find a single decent one throughout the years.

We wanted to eat an authentic Italian meal in Little Italy. We stopped here on a busy Sunday night without reservations and they were gracious enough to seat us. Food was delicious, staff was excellent, very friendly. Highly Recommend.

From the delicious bread to the wonderful salad and including the amazing pasta it was a perfect meal. Of course can't forget the excellent and reasonable wine suggested by our waiter and they were kind enough to bring us a complimentary piece of chocolate cake for my daughter's 21st birthday celebration.

We visited this restaurant in Little Italy during the holiday season. The atmosphere is nothing special but the food and service were very, very good. I enjoyed a veal dish with a light, well seasoned tomato sauce; it was very tasty and tender. My wife and friends also enjoyed their dinners. And the Chianti Classico that was featured that evening... More

Our daughter celebrated her Sweet 16 Birthday today and she picked this place from careful reviews online and recommendations from friends and we traveled over 2 hours from Philly and are glad we did. Plus the management was so awesome that even though our reservations were for 5:00pm they didn't complain when we had to change them twice due to... More

The place is pretty, cheap and well maintain. The food was very good, specially, pizza. Beverages can improve (i.e., coke).

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
