When I lived in NYC, this was one of my go-to places to eat. They served fabulous food and the service was excellent. It had an old fashioned Italian feel to it that was comfortable and fun. The waiters there all seemed to have worked...More

In case anyone is considering going here, this place has since closed. It was really great for most of its existence, but started to go downhill once they were told the building had been sold. Another great place closed after many years.

I've gone here many times for business and it never disappoints. A throw back decor reminds one of the old Italian restaurants from the 40's. The food is classic Italian and service is excellent and professional. A wonderful antipasto display will greet you as you...More

The food was mediocre, and the service was horrible! The staff was very unfriendly. By far the worst Italian restaurant we have ever been to. For what they serve, the prices were very high. Will never go back and do not recommend it.

While the atmosphere could be better, the food was excellent. I was a bit disappointed that our server did not know the wwine list better, and we paid an outrageous amount for a mediocre wine, I would go back. The veal was fabulous.

This is what happens when you stop trying to innovate after being respected for some time. You price yourself to take advantage of name and location while not investing in the food or atmosphere. We have known this restaurant since 1990 and there are wonderful...More

Loved going here for twenty years but the restaurant is on its last gasp. They have cut back on everything. You no longer get cheese on the table or the small plate of dried meat. We did get bread and very greasy fried zucchini. the...More

What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title
