Second time at ABC, first time I am actually able to book dinner throigh open table ( belive me its not easy!). Love the concept, the relaxed atmosphere , the fresh ingredients ( highly recoomend the beet salad with yogurt). My only complaint is the noise level which is way up there, aking it difficult to carry a conversation. There... More

This was my second visit to ABC Kitchen. My first visit was during lunch and everything was delicious. This time we decided to visit during brunch since there might be different things to try. We were disappointed that the egg dishes were not at all very tasty (these were items that could have been found at any breakfast place). We... More

This is my second visit to the kitchen over a period of 6 years and I have noticed quite an expansion while maintaining quality. The ambiance is very nice and the service and food are really good. Limited menu is the reason die the 4 star rating.

What an afternoon! We took a taxi to the restaurant at 35 East 18th Street. The lunch menu is extensive but the three of us went for Michelin star Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten lunch prix fixe with choices of a starter, a main and a dessert. Beautiful, gathering atmosphere, the lunch tables were full and our fabulous orders arrived without too... More

It is pretty hard to get a reservation for four people during the peak hours. I did it 30 days in advance and luckily got one at 7:30pm on a Monday. We got there on time and it was packed already. We waited 10 minutes for our table ready. We tried following stuff shared by 4 and $70 per person:... More

I made a reservation for the Sunday brunch. I made the reservation probably 2 weeks in advance and when we arrived our table was ready! Nicely Done ABC! I find it really aggravating when you make a res and the restaurant makes you WAIT like it's a surprise you showed up. This impressed me. Then I saw the interior, oh... More

I had a lovely lunch at ABC Kitchen. The ambiance is sweet and pretty. A lovely retreat in the city. The food was creative and yummy. A nice spot for a city lunch.

Expected a lot more from this place, the menu wasn't as impressive as one would expect. The dishes lacked flavour and it the links were especially poor. Not good value for money

I love the ambiance and high quality food, yet reasonable prices. This is one of my truly favorite restaurants in NYC. The roast carrot and avocado salad is delicious, as is the bacon asparagus pizza. There is likely a wait but it is worth it.

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
