We had a great first experience at ABC Kitchen. Max and Austin were our servers. They were both professional and attentive ~ Really exceptional! The carrot and avocado salad was surprisingly wonderful and the salmon was perfectly prepared ~delicious. The crispy pork confit with bacon marmalade...yum. We will definitely be back!

I've been a handful of times and usually with a family member who has gone often and is very particular about food. Our experience has been consistently positive. Not inexpensive but worth it. There is an effort to make thoughtful dishes, not too exotic but well composed. And each component is made with fresh ingredients and very tasty. Service is... More

I heard a lot about this place, and finally I got to go for lunch. I had high expectations, some of the dishes were amazing like the crab toast, but the rest were good but not great. Chicken quinoa salad was tasteless, also the salmon was not so good. A lot of healthy choices.

Got into this spot by some miracle. Maybe it was my great karma?? I was in the city visiting a girlfriend with my boyfriend and they just happened to have a spot for 6 people(!!) available the next night so we snuck right on in. We shared the crab toast, calamari, and cheese plate. So much YUM! My favorite entrees... More

ABC Kitchen had a great prix fix for a business lunch while in NYC. Quintessential trendy New York vibe - a reservation is a must. The tuna sashimi was clean and delicious while the raviolo was a burst of flavor with soft cheese spilling over. I will definitely return next time I am in NYC.

We went to ABC Kitchen after a recommendation from family who live in NYC. It did not disappoint. We had excellent service and great food. The Heirloom tomato toast was amazing as an app. 3 of us had the crispy pork confit and it was amazing. the home made salted caramel icecream was the best we've ever had. An excellent... More

Really tasty brunch menu, lovely setting, and great location. Cocktails were delicious. Would of liked to see some more classic brunch items on the menu though.

We were in NYC for a "Girls Weekend". Eight women trying to decide what to order for brunch - that's a dilemma!! Needless to say - we ordered 16 items from the menu and shared - so much fun to do it that way. Hands down winner - peach pancakes!! The crab toast and calamari were the second favorites. The... We were excited to try ABC Kitchen as we read very good things. It was hard to find the entrance...we had to ask directions. Loved the rustic, chic décor and cool lighting. Wonderful wine, beer, cocktail menu... we tried and enjoyed the very fresh melon daiquiri. We chose the Carrot and Avocado salad for an app...Yum! Don't even like cooked... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
