The restaurant's atmosphere is fantastic. Lively, great decorations and friendly staff. In general the starters were very good. Shrimp Tempura and the fish tacos were very good and the chicken wing lollipops were fantastic. I ordered the Daurade for he main course and my wife ordered the Halibut, with a side of scalloped potatoes. Both fish dishes were very dry... More

My wife and I were looking for a seafood restaurant in NYC and found this great place in the East Village. You walk down an outside flight of stairs and enter a place with great decor and better yet, great food, drinks and service. The place was busy and just loud enough to have a great atmosphere while still being... More

We love this place. Pricey but worth it. Start with Toro sushi and fish tacos. Move into scallops and pan seared fish. Yummy.

The sushi crew made every single plate with love and passion. The fresh quality was outstanding, the tast delicious !!! Even made vegan sushi for our daughter. The made such an effort !!! The servants weren’t that friendly, but we were sitting at the bar, so it didn’t effect us and we could fully enjoy this wonderful treat !!! From... More

Ambience was great, as was the sushi and other seafood (and burger!) but the nori coated tuna was a no. Really unappetising but apart from that nice!

We came for the lobster roll and were first told they were sold out!! But 15 minutes later when were trying to decide on something else the waitress came over and advised the kitchen just got their lobster delivery and if we could wait 15 minutes we could have them. All 4 of us got the lobster roll on the... More

Our group was, um, "lured" here by the Happy Hour specials, but the food was so tasty we stuck around long after Happy Hour ended. Lure is a very handsome and comfortable space, but arrive on the early side, especially if you want to sit in the bar area, because the place gets packed by the end of Happy Hour.... More

I had pleasant surprise today when a colleague arranged for us to meet in this Soho restaurant for lunch. I came from midtown and was expecting that it would be difficult to talk. We were seated in the bar area which although full was relatively quiet and allowed us to have a good lunchtime business conversation The service was excellent... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
