Stopped in at 11 pm, 30 minutes of waiting for a table that was open when we arrived. At least we were not told an hour of wait like the people who arrived after us. Manager eating by the counter and didn't seem to want bothered with anything kind of odd

You will hear almost every table buzzing about this being the location of a famous movie (which it was), so it's heavily visited for that reason, but we like coming here because the food is delicious. Huge menu with lots of variety. Cheeseburgers are yummy and taste homemade. And of course the frozen hot chocolate is a dream! I can... More

Had to pay a visit to this restaurant as I love the film this featured in & the whole Serendipity concept. Great food & nice atmosphere, had to have the Frozen Hot Chocolate dessert & delicious burger & chips. The staff were very nice & friendly, service was quick seeing as it was pretty busy. The restaurant is lovely and cozy. The food was very satisfying but could use more seasoning for the price of what you pay per dish. The service was great. Our waiter provided much information was very attentive. My husband had the meatloaf. It was served with mash and a house salad. The hot dog with chili and cheese was decent... More

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on Valentine's Day. No wait for a table, which was nice, so lunch is definitely the best time to go. We had a great time! We each had a sandwich and shared a frozen peanut butter hot chocolate. Everything was delicious! The food is a little pricey, but the atmosphere and quality... More

Love the food! Everything we ordered was really good. Even the Frozen Hot Chocolate was very good. The ambiance is also nice, not too noisy. Also love the design and decorations of the restaurant. Will definitely return to this restaurant!

The service is mediocre, it's loud and cramped (especially the ladies room!) but I keep coming back because I love the frozen hot chocolate, ice cream and desserts. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. you can make a reservation ahead of time, but they typically put reservation groups in the crappy seats in my opinion.

We visited on a Saturday night at approx 10:30. There was a 30 minute wait which was no big deal. The staff didn't seem to know where to have people wait and what was interested was that one of the staff member( looked like a manager) was sitting at the table right near he host eating dinner. Sorry but a... More

We got there at 5:30pm on a Friday night and only had to wait for about 15 minutes for a table. Seated upstairs. We had dinner and then frozen hot chocolate for dessert. It was everything I had hoped it would be. Delicious! Not to be missed when yopu go to New York.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
