Beautiful, creative food. The waitstaff, impeccable. Ambiance, warm and appealing to the senses. It is expensive, but TOTALLY worth it.

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Aureole and couldn't have been happier with the evening. The staff was wonderful – we were well take care of and the kitchen even sent a birthday wish on my dessert plate. The food was amazing (we had the chef's tasting menu) and the wines well matched with every course. The sommelier was lovely... More

We hadn't been to Aureole in several years but dined there with friends at 6:00 last night if for no other reason than to say hello to Valerio, formerly the peerless awardwinning m'd at A VOCE Columbus, in his new work-home. And a truly fantastic dinner it was. We had a great table that provided an oasis during the pre-theatre... More

We met friends in New York City. The four of us had a great dinner. The five course tasting menu was done to perfection! The service was great. The wine list impeccable.

I made a reservation a month before Thanksgiving for my family. When we were seated at our table, our waitress couldn't even smile on Thanksgiving. They tried to rush us and then when we were served and i asked for salt and pepper, she said they didn't have salt and pepper shakers to leave at the tables! I was appalled.... More

My daughter and I had lunch at Aureole yesterday. The reviews were good and we wanted to try a nice upscale experience. Lovely place, not crowded, mostly businessmen were dining, The special price fixe lunch was a two or three choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. We chose the two choice, crispy pork belly and osso bucco. The pork belly... More

Arrived on time for our reservation in the dining room to experience the 5 course tasting menu. Seated us 15 minutes late after sending us to the bar which was too crowded and unable to get a seat or a drink. Service was pleasant enough but actually forgot about our wine we ordered. First two courses of Tuna tartare and... More

We were there after theater at 10:00 p.m and the ambient, at that moment it began to calm down ,I know it was a little late, but I would have preferred a better atmosphere, the service was good and the food too.

The staff was very accommodating, even when we stopped in without reservations on a Saturday night near theater time. Food was outstanding. Service was gracious but a bit slow. The bar and front room is airy and open but the back room, where we were, was kind of closed off and had a dated vibe. The bar is very nice.

Thank Kelley C

Aureole, New York is the flagship showcase for Charlie Palmer's unabashed, energetic signature Progressive American cuisine. Now under the culinary leadership of Executive Chef Marcus Gleadow-Ware, who learned the importance of the classics at London's world-renowned Savoy Hotel, the kitchen turns out elegant, simple dishes with sharply focused flavors like Wagyu Beef Carpaccio with crispy shiitake, scallions, taro root, ponzu and lavash cracker.

Aureole is located within the spectacular Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park, the most environmentally advanced skyscraper in the world. Offering a range of dining options, the Liberty Room is smart and casual with walnut-topped tables and a back-lit, etched glass front bar with polished natural zinc top surface, the intimate Dining Room is designed in both lighting and texture to give off a golden glow, and The Halo Private Dining Room is wrapped with fabric panel and silver leaf walls, dotted with sculptural back-lit flame sconces. Now in its 25th year, Aureole is contemporary urban elegance.
