Although it’s in the basement, it’s a great Italian restaurant favored by the locals. Ravioli with bolognese is fantastic.

It all works here in this dark basement Italian restaurant, until the check comes. Enjoy the fabulous ambience, the waiters from Albania, the excellent food and the strong wine list. Take in the scene - shady stock manipulators, “uncles” with their young female “cousins,” corrupt...More

This was a surprise. Finding a resturant what is closest thing to a basement location as possible. In spite of that the place was packed and loud. Tables were cramed as close as possible. Service was very attentive and the food was good. The only...More

Always a bit of a delay in getting seated around 2000 hrs. This time it took us 40 minutes at the bar. But the great service and huge portions of excellent Italian food makes up for the chaos at the front door. One major difference...More

We went to dinner here last weekend while visiting New York with some friends. We had a very nice dinner, and it wasn't too pricey. The restaurant is cute, nestled in a basement accessed by a steep set of stairs. It's dark but cozy. My...More

Fantastic dinner! The chicken parmigiana was the best I have ever had including Italy. The ricotta cheese cake is a must. There Brunello by the glass is unbelievable selection for “by the glass”. Friendly staff!
