Because of its proximity to the Hotel Beacon, this over-priced coffee shop has a steady stream of new customers, mostly tourists, who don't realize at first what an over-priced but otherwise very ordinary eatery this is. If you're visiting, look around for other options. Locals would never eat there.

Breakfast was really good. Oatmeal and omelet were exactly what you would expect in an coffeeshop. In the evening we were kinda tired and didnt feel like walking to a different restaurant. Since we had a good experience in the morning we decided to go back in the evening. This was a mistake. The food was salty and greasy. The... More

This place has everything. Though they call it a cafe it is essentially a high class diner. It is managed well and the food is good . Especially the fish which is unusual for a diner. Very pricey but the location and the quality of the service and the food is well worth it, Excellent for people watching and they... More

We ate here a couple of evenings while staying at the Beacon Hotel next door, purely for convenience. The food is good, portions generous, and menu varied. Staff are efficient, but not particularly friendly, not exactly fine dining but perfectly acceptable.

This is a good diner. Clean and bright with tables near windows or booths further in. Big servings so I recommend sharing! The Ruben sandwich was very tasty and the New York cheesecake delicious. The service was fast, polite and efficient. The coffee cup was always being filled up. Nice place for a quick feed, but not the place to... More

Right next to the Hotel Beacon & Beacon theatre this cafe offers a good selection of meals at a reasonable price. Available all day and the service never wants.

The food is ok but over priced for what you get! The owner watches every move everyone makes. Not very Hospitable! The waitresses are great though especially Barbara!

A little on the pricey side for breakfast but great food and service. Plenty of seating, quick service and great tastes. Well worth a visit.

The meal (breakfast) was pretty good, but overpriced for what we got. There were other better choices nearby.
