The welcoming charm, delicious food and drinks, casual atmosphere of this classic New York cafe never seem to fade, just get better. It's just off Broadway on 83rd Street, quiet neighborhood. And yes, "You've Got Mail."

Completely not worth it. Dessert was stale and lackluster. Service was poor. Not worth the time or money.

Wanted dessert after seeing a show. Rather out of our way but wanting to treat our NY college student. Disappointed. Service very so-so even though it was not busy. Kitchen was out of three things which we tried to order. Blamed it on the fact that the holidays were just over. What? Rainy night with window seating, some water drips.... More

Used to be our favorite after event place on West side. Could not believe how bad the service was. There was a 2 piece combo that nobody was listening to. Impossible to enjoy the food in such an environment.

I was visiting NY for the first time and remembered this from You've Got Mail. I also was also keen to get a late night dessert, something we only have a very limited range of in NZ. I was not disappointed. There were over 20 types of cheesecake but tons of other cake, and it was all amazing! Definitely recommend... More

Worst service I have ever experienced in the States. We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning (it wasn't even busy at 9.30am) and our waitress seemed to be more annoyed about every single customer than anything else. We all had tea and cappuccinos and asked for some water at some point. We got it banged on the table. Wow.... More

At the end of a long day of museum walking and dealing with the rain this cute cafe was the perfect stop before going to the theatre. They have a wide range of choices for food - soup/sandwiches/frittata and their sweets and coffee selections are to die for!

Service is terrible! Don't let Anastasia be your waitress. Food is mediocre full of grease, location is great. I was charged twice for my food and then had to wait over 30 min to get a refund. Go to another location Tourist trap.

The title says it all. Went there on my last day in NYC for breakfast. We ordered 2 coffee and 2 egg and toast. Waited for more than 30 minutes for the coffee. My friend was famished by then and ordered a slice of cake. Another mistake, it took another 15 mins for them to serve the cake to us.... More
