It has been around forever, and never dissapoints. Terrific food, beautifully and simply prepared. Fantastic service. Do not expect to walk in and get a table, make a reservation!

Food was simply amazing, steak tartar and salmon tartar were fresh and spiced just right; grilled octopus appetizer served with fresh carrot salad was delicious. Friendly and non-intrusive service makes you appreciate this place even more. I feel that price is absolutely appropriate and justified.

This restaurant was fully booked when we went in on the off chance of getting a table, completely forgetting it was Mother's Day. The staff were very accommodating and managed to book us a table for 8.00pm. We were staying one block away so it was easy to come back and well worth the wait. The staff were friendly and... More

took my friend here for his birthday, and it was lovely. I wish it was just a little cheaper, but the chicken was amazing, as was our birthday ice cream. He also brought me here for MY birthday, which was also v pleasing.

Here for brunch. Great tasting food but what impressed me was the honesty of the wait staff. I added the tip in wrong and the wait person asked if I made a mistake which would give her an extra $10... I had! ....and I let her keep it for her honesty!

I like this establishment, but for no reason in particular. I have enjoyed lunch here twice now. It was not crowded, quite relaxing, and unhurried. The food is not exceptional, and yes, a bit overpriced, but the servers are pleasant and attentive. The check is presented with an amusing postcard!

At less than 10 blocks from my apartment, I consider this a neighborhood staple. If understated elegance and delicious simple classics are your thing, you will also love this place. The steak and frites or the roast chicken, the salmon, or the wasabi tuna burger, did I mention the frites?? Oh and save room for desert, the hot fudge Sunday... More

We were guests of friends who frequent the cafe. It was a nice ambiance with a great breakfast offering The menu is diverse. Omelette was large and worth splitting All the food ordered was appreciated with hats off to the french toast and oatmeal. The decor is interesting and The restaurant features the omnipresent picture of the three nude women... More
