Outstanding food and attentive service! Because of traffic and parking, we arrived almost an hour after our reservation on a busy Saturday night, but the manager, Jose, graciously accommodated us and the attention to detail continued throughout our delicious meal. From the shrimp over kale and the prosciutto appetizers, to the perfectly cooked steak and salmon and the flavorful side... More

What a great experience - delicious food, awesome service and great atmosphere. The lasagna was especially fantastic: we visited a year ago and still talk about the lasagna! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

A friend suggested we go to Pappardella as a good choice for Italian food. Unfortunately this did not prove to be the case. It was quite underwhelming. I ordered a soup of the day, a soup of chicken broth, orzo, chickpeas and a tiny bit of pancetta. This was a completely bland soup. I can well believe that some canned... More

We just came across Pappardella by accident as we decided to have an early dinner before walking back to our hotel in 52nd St (all on New Year's Eve - you can imagine the crowds near Times Square) and staff were brilliant with service and friendliness. The food was exceptional and we were also lucky to have a very nice... More

Pizza described as cheese and tomato (Margherita) but no discernible tomato - just cheese. No flavour either - needed lots of salt, pepper and olive oil to make it palatable. Ordered a chicken dish which said it came with mozarella, Parmesan, chicken and tomato. As my daughter is lactose intolerant we requested no cheese, but dish arrived with a lot... More

My wife and I visited NY December 2016 and after searching online foor a restaurant with gluten free options found this little gem. Nearby central park we first went for lunch and being an italian cuisine, it was surprising how many gluten free items were offered. They even have a separate gf menu. The food and service was excellent and... More

My sister has celiac disease so a lot of times we are very wary of "Gluten Sensitive or Intolerant or Friendly" options. However, we were pleasantly surprised to see this extensive gluten free menu (since my whole family eats gluten free). We got two exquisite pasta dishes, with delicious tasting pasta, and they offered a gluten free bruschetta and several... More

When you have some in your family that is intolerant to gluten is a problem eating out. Not in this Italian place! We all felt like at home eating what we like more. 25/30 dollars each, good and fast service, what else can you ask for??

This is a lovely restaurant with great food and ambiance. The only problem is acoustics......it is difficult to hold a conversation because of the ambient noise level. It is moderately expensive.

We order a pinic in the park from Pappardella. We had a four course meal for two. We could have feed 4 people with all the food that was included. We started with antipasti platter. Next we enjoyed prosciutto sandwiches. We were too full to eat the pesto pasta so we took it back to the hotel. We finished with... More
