Very nice choice of food and drinks, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Although fairly expensive, but worth the price!

Visited this restaurant during our stay in New York and it was a very nice meal. It was chucking it down with rain outside so it was a relief to get inside and sit down. The food tasted fresh and they were of decent size portions. The waiting staff were friendly but the only negative thing about this restaurant was... More

Pappardella was a great restaurant to get a delicious dessert at! The torta di cioccolato and the zabaione con fragole fresche are very delicious! We went there at 10:30 pm and got a late night dessert. I would definitely try dinner here another time!

This is one of our neighborhood restaurants and we have often enjoyed sitting in the outdoor area for lunch or dinner. We have a relative who is unable to eat gluten (bread, pizza, soy sauce, etc) and when he comes to town we need a restaurant that can accommodate his dietary needs. We discovered that this restaurant had a gluten-free... More

My wife has celiac disease and sometimes it is hard to find a restaurant that has multiple options for her. I think there were as many gluten free options on the menu as there were regular choices. My wife had gluten free bruschetta and gluten free chicken parm and they both were awesome! I had a caprese and Fettuccine Alfredo.... More

We’ve been dining at Pappardella every time we come to NY for the past 23 years and it never disappoints. This is a classic neighborhood Italian restaurant which offers indoor and some outdoor seating. We spent the weekend in NY and dined with friends who met us in NY for the day. Service was friendly and attentive. We started off... More

Like much of the Upper West Side, Pappardella is not about being showy or trying to be the best - it is about casual, tasty, good Italian-style food and a fun eating experience. We found the staff very accommodating and on several evenings enjoyed eating outside. My favorite meal was the sea bass - excellent!

With its warm weather outdoor seating and delightful indoor ambiance, this venue exudes any of Italy's delightful bistros. But wait, you're not in Italy, you're in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Inside the dining room is semi dark space surrounded by dark wood paneling, small bar at the rear, a wall filled with bottles of wine waiting to be... More

A very good neighborhood restaurant. You won't say it's the best italian food you have ever had, but you leave satisfied in my humble opinion. We have been to this restaurant our last couple of stays on the upper west side and each time the food has been very good. This last visit the service was not what it had... More
