So good friends said this was a place to go! So we went, and here is an honest review. The menu is written badly, so question the eating staff to find out exactly what you get! As a breakfast dish we ordered was listed as 'bacon, sausage' and when arrived it had no sausage to be told it's either or... More

Stumbled across this restaurant and went for brunch. Firstly, the menu is amazing. I went for the Mexican breakfast and my partner went for the smoked salmon bagel. The staff were lovely and very attentive. Overall a great place to visit to start off your day in NYC.

Perfect offering of hearty southern dishes ala NYC. Fried chicken, biscuits, coleslaw, blueberry pancakes, homemade apple pie in the heart of Manhattan. Lots of young families enjoyed brunch on snowy Saturday in January.

Recommended to us by our Concierge and was an absolute spot in recommendation. A perfect spot for a scrumptious breakfast. The staff were welcoming and the food even more so. We ended up ordering four different breakfasts and sharing them between the four of us. The fact the Bubbys have not slipped into the pretentiousness of being a coffee bar,... More

Went for brunch here with my gf. She had the griddle special while I went for the fried chicken biscuit with fries. The girl really enjoyed the soft and butter scrambled eggs. I loved my fries! Truly amazing. However the fried chicken biscuit was only average.

Decent value soup and sandwich lunch. Unbelievably rich pie - probably too rich. But friendly table service and enjoyable. Entrance host was obnoxious and rude but the waitress was better - they need to remember who the customer is.

Came here for breakfast on New Years Day and it was so good we came again the next day. Great friendly service, tasty food and an excellent soul soundtrack. Breakfast for 3 came to around $80 plus tip, so maybe not the cheapest, but worth it in my view.

Bubby's reminds me of the breakfast places here in Nashville but a little higher priced. Honestly that is the ONLY downside to this place. Our meal for 2 (without the $15 tip) was $60.. That's without any pie which looked so so good. $75 for breakfast is spendy but I don't regret it at all. The food is AMAZING, the... More

Just that really. 15 bucks for oatmeal? They're having a laugh. Nice waiter but nothing too special about the food.

Had read a great review about this place so went for lunch and thought we would never get a seat as people were milling around out front. Only 3 of us so we only waited 5 minutes at most. Great service and friendly staff, not sure if it was Ripley, Eleven or Sinead who got us seated and was running... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
