Everything on the menu at this place looks so good, it's hard to decide what to get. And when the entrees are so filling, it's tough to pass on the appetizers. So I ordered both, knowing that I'd be stuffed. And now I must go back someday to sample more delicious dishes. As others have said, the restaurant can be... More

We went in the early evening so it wasn't particularly busy. The service was good and my lychee martini was nice. I had green papaya salad, steamed veggie dumplings and salmon sashimi which was all pretty good. The salad lacked the depth of flavours in real Thai food but it was still quite tasty. My friend had wanton soup which... More

We ended up going here a couple of times during our stay in New York City. I recommend the noodles in broth especially if you've got a cold. Or try one of the bento box selections to get a taste of the appetizers and an entree for a reasonable price. It's very popular with younger folks, and it gets loud.... More

The place is well run and confortabile. You can sit at tables or at the isle facing the kitchen to talk with the team of cooks while they are preparing your meal. The food is delicious: they wisely combine Chinese, Thay, Korean, Vietnamese flavors. They also have a choice of good Asian beers.

If you enjoy Vietnamese Pho (soup) and Thai food and are looking for an informal, inexpensive place with great food, this is your place. It is a large place, nothing fancy, but tasty food, efficient service and reasonably priced. I had a spicy (not too) chicken soup w coconut milk which was delicious and in a huge bowl.

I ordered curried chicken, expecting the usual sauce and chicken over rice. Instead, I got a curry soup! **DELICIOUS!** A happy accident. The curry was hot enough to make me sweat a bit, but did not burn the throat. I never would have thought to use cilantro with curry, but it was great! The food came fast! The service was... More

This is a terrific place to pop in for lunch or dinner. The set up is wide and comfortable tables with benches. A stranger may pop next to you. That's ok! You will both be slurping your noodles or digging into a fragrant bowl of rice with a toasty piece of salmon on top. For some reason, I have been... More

We went here for dinner in July. Atmosphere is fancy and eat at the bar allow you to see them cooking with this huge wok, impressive. Food unfortunately was not tasty, miss flavor and we found more improved the environmental than the thayfood (and we use to eat Thai food).

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
