I came here a few times within the last 45 days, the food is great; however they never had any collard greens each time I been here, or the picture of the white wine sangria. They need to take these items off the menu if they are not serving them, it's misleading and and this is a disservice to their... More

So here we are in NYC looking for a good, solid Jamaican Restaurant. Found it here. The atmosphere has that IRIE feel to it. The staff have a Jamaican accent and the dishes on the menu are definitely Jamaican. I had the coconut salmon, but had the coconut on the side as I'm not a fan of coconut. But that... More

Been here three times so far. Last visit was the worst of the three and I don't think I will return. My family is Jamaican, I have lived in Jamaica, and I am used to authentic Jamaican food. Negril Village isn't only Jamaican. It is described as West Indian food and much of it is but most of the menu... More

The food was delicious..the right spice's and the right drinks too compliment the food. Jerk chicken is one of my favorites and the plantains were nice and sweet.

I can't explain how much I love the food at this place. Good, authentic, amazing. Had the mussels the first time I visited and the sauce is off the charts! I believe it's an appetizer but I ordered another bowl lol The second time I had whole red snapper with okra. It reminded me of when my dad cooked okra.... More

Went here for my birthday dinner with husband. We arrived 15 minutes late for our reservation and the host said our reservation had been released and the wait was about an hour. Spoke to second host and he agreed to seat us as soon as next table became available. I get we were late but most places hold the reservation... More

We went to Negril the day before Labour day. They told us there was a show downstairs but it was more of a club and very loud. The carnival dancers were good though. We then sat upstairs which was quieter. The food was amazing. We had the sharing starter platter which was delicious. Followed by brown stewed chicken and rice... More

Located in the heart of Greenwich Village, Negril Village promises to entertain your soul as well as your palette in a hip & classy environment. The latest installment in the Negril chain specializes in Nu Caribbean cuisine or what is dubbed “New York Savvy Caribbean cuisine”. The menu embraces the cooking styles and techniques of destinations such as Trinidad (i.e. Chicken Roti), Puerto Rico (i.e. Island Paella), and of course Jamaica (i.e. Jerk Chicken and Ackee). Set on two levels, the restaurants décor can be described as contemporary yet natural. The spacious dining room, on the upper level, boasts bamboo floors and seashell lined walls; while the Rhum lounge, on the lower level, warms you with its raisin interior, red lacquer floors, and in-house DJ. Live Reggae, Calypso, and Latin bands will further enchant you as you sip one of Negril Village’s many tropical drinks.
