We ordened pasta, the one with rabbit was wonderful. The raviolli was great, but a small portion. The burrata was delicious and fresh. Be aware that they don't accept credit card

Bar Pitti does not take reservations or credit cards, but do not let that stop you from eating there. Go early. There is always a daily menu on a chalk board in addition to the printed menu. As the name should tell you, the cuisine is from Florence. Everything is delicious, the pastas, the sides and the wines. The wait... More

I've been here a half dozen times for lunch with my son and EVERY SINGLE thing we've eaten has been spectacular! Pastas are just perfect everytime. Great al fresco dining when the weather allows. Always packed, but we never wait long to be seated or served. The waitstaff is excellent and the host is wonderful. Love Bar Pitti!!

This was my fifth time at Bar Pitti. It NEVER disappoints! Super delicious authentic Italian food. You must go there for lunch or dinner when in NYC!!

Thats the beauty of it all. Good food and ingredients, always tastes the same, year after year. You are served quickly, you eat and you leave. Its that simple. No lingering encouraged here but I never liked doing that anyway. Best burrata and meatballs in town.

In august, me and my boyfriend visited several restaurants in New York and we were very well treated by all of them, except at the Bar Pitti, which offers a TERRIBLE service, the worst in life. The waiters are very rude. One of them even threw grated cheese on my dress and on all table, except on the dish, because... More

The food looks good... from a distance. Once you actually sit down to eat it, you soon realize that, in my opinion, it's actually pretty average tasting food and slightly overpriced. The eggplant parmigiana was watery and tasted "boiled". Pasta was underwhelming.

True disclosure: I have some Italian in me, thus I mainly survive on Italian food and aged steaks. The last couple of years have seen a considerable influx of fresh Italian blood and restaurants in our great city. This truly is welcome: what I call American-Italian cooking has become unearable to lovers of Italian food, too much cheese and canned... More
