This nice family business give you great food almost as good as in Italy. The Italian speaking staff give a great atmosphere. The staff will gladly joke around with you and attempt to teach Italian. The only down side is that it's a cash only establishment. I would recommend this place to anybody wanting original Italian food. Try the mozzarella... More

Delicious, consistently good. Enjoyed the fresh paparadelle with meat sauce tonight. One of our favorites in the west village.

The food is ok. I had the same pasta in other places. No news on the food. The waiters really wanted to close the restaurant because it was 11:15 pm, so the service was not good. The burrata is really very good. They do not accept credit card and there is no sign or warning about that. Good to go..

Nothing good to say about the service - menu is written in Italian - fine since it is an Italian restaurant, but they make it clear they have no interest or time to explain what the items are so have your Google translate ready! There was no refilling water or asking if we wanted any more drinks.. in fact, I... More

A quick cab ride to the Village and Bar Pitti on a Sunday at noon. Absolutely fantastic Italian Food. Had a great table outside and enjoyed some of the best pasta we have ever had in the US. It was like Italy all over again. Pasta Fiesoliana, hand made absolutely superb. This is an Italian Restaurant, the menu is Italian,... More

The pasta was so fresh and cooked to perfection. Wonderful atmosphere sitting and eating outside while people watching in the Village. Two things could have been better. The waiters did not understand or they just didn't care to understand me and my family when requesting refills of water. The second is that they only accept cash.

Our neice who in lives in NYC told us here. As foodies, we were impressed with the quality of this authentic Italian food. Wonderful atmosphere sitting outside on a beautiful summer night in Greenwich Village.

From the minute we walked in,the wetrest treated us bad.I asked for a table for 3 and was squeezed into a table for 2 .After being agnored for a while we were served the wine in a non professional way.The food was served rudely and the portion was very small for the money you pay. The pasta had no taste... More

We walked from uptown to the village and stopped in Bar Pitti for dinner. They have outside seating and it's nice to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. We had the pasta with turkey sausage and peas and the salmon. We enjoyed both dinners. The house wine wasn't very good but the food was good.

Very average bistro restaurant with prices that don't match the customer's experience. Quality of food barely worth the execrable service.
