I'm not a fan of sharing a table with strangers, but the couple at the end had their champagne and eyes only for one another-- and once the first plate was put in front of us, we quickly turned our attention to one delectable dish...More

I went with work colleagues here on a Sunday night. Advertised as a tapas place, I was happy to see the amazing selection of small plates of all manner of cuisines well represented. The fried cauliflower, pulled pork empanadas, scallop cevice, brussel sprouts and slider...More

Hard to find (it doesn't have a sign) but worth it! The food was great and they have a gluten free menu if you need that. Intimate cozy atmosphere with a wood burning fireplace in the downstairs main room. Didn't give it 5 stars only...More

This is a bit of a tapas style place, with a huge open two floor dining room out the back (don't be deceived by the size of the place as you enter or the aspect from the road - it's huge). Friendly staff and great...More

I eat here every time I'm in the city. Brussel sprouts and Goat Cheese balls are amazeballs. Always incredible food, very cozy atmosphere, good service. Sangria is better than I've had anywhere in Spain. Don't leave home without your AMEX.

This place is not easy to find. From it's Yelp location (wrong) to Google map (wrong) and no signage to boot. Also beware - AMEX and cash only. I don't know how much Amex had to pay the owner to exclude Visa and MC, but...More

If you like fantastic food and excellent service definitely give Alta a shot. Whenever we get to NYC we try to make it here. The drinks are top notch as well. Our favorite dish is the brussel sprouts! You will not be disappointed.

We arrived early for our reservation and were asked to wait at the bar. The scene is clearly one for the younger generation (we are in our later 50's) The atmosphere is beautiful, we were seated upstairs. Interesting menu of many small dishes which we...More

This is a reviwe only for the bar, as we waited for a friend that was very late, therefore we didn't get seated and were forced to find dinner somewhere else. The sangria was good, and the scene was good.

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

It's better to make a reservation unless you'd like to come very early, around 6. But it's not a big deal, normally the same day or day before would work.
