When I visited Sushi Samba the first over than 10 years ago I got addicted to this very special blend of food. You can enjoy great Sushi's with a Brazilian splash, as well as Ceviche and the seafood and meet dishes are incredible as well. I almost would say you can't go wrong here.

I have been there and liked there so much. It is a small restaurant with good sushi and asian food. It is not cheap but you should go and taste sushi there.

Sushi is one of our favorite foods and Sushi Samba never disappoints. Always great food and dining experience. Love the upstairs seating at this location - great views and ambiance. We loved the Smores dessert - never had anything quite like it! We will go back here when we visit the city again!

Food is OK - nothing sensational, service is decidedly average (had to get our server changed) and if you are not sat outside the noise means you cannot hear yourself think.

I have been here a couple of times previously and its always been fairly good. A fun place but the noise of customers drowns out everything and leaves you shouting across the table to companions. Sushi is good and the selection of rolls is very wide. Great selection of Sake and good knowledge from the waiter after we told him... More

I always like to go to Sushi Samba. The food is very good and the fusion between the Peruvian and the Japanese is sooo good. The food was very fresh and the suggestions were really good. Service was extremely nice and patient and we never felt that we had to leave right after finishing dinner. A place to return

What to say, when we jumped in the cab and told him where we wanted to go he said "are you sure? no one goes there any more". I wasn't too worried whether it had fallen out of favour or not, I have visited the London location multiple times and the Vegas one and had loved the experiences. When we... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
