Seven of us met at Balthazar for a breakfast meeting. We loved our dishes. The avocado/egg/toast dish was beautifully presented and very appetizing, as well as my yogurt, granola and fruit combination. The service was very efficient, pleasant and professional. We were able to conduct...More

Had an excellent meal at Balthazar in early January 2018. Service was top notch, and while prices aren't low, they are fair what you get in NYC. Don't miss the french fries

I got terrible vomits and "D" after eating the oysters! The place is expensive and overpopulated tables. We all have been to France and this place is an attempt to make it fit in NYC----It does not work----Over populated tables and a mess of push...More

Balthazar is one of a kind! Great place, that looked like an antique shop, but it’s a contemporary French cousin! Amazingly good! The waiters are very nice and gentle, wishing to help the customers to pick a delicious meal! I was with my husbands family,...More

Hi, it really depends on when you are planning to visit the restaurant. But I would suggest at least two weeks to avoid disappointment. Friday lunch through to Sunday lunch are peak times.
