We visited Tribeca Grill on a Pre-theater dinner in July 2016. The food was very good and I would recommend it. The service was not that smooth. When we arrived we were seated on a nice round table. The table was badly balanced and it took quite a long time as two people tried to fix it. As the restaurant... More

Tribeca Grill is a great spot to meet friends and have an awesome meal. Before we had dinner, the bartender made up a refreshing and tasty rum based cocktail on the spot. Well done. At dinner, the service was attentive and the food was really good. I really enjoyed the Lobster Cavatelli

Went for a Saturday evening meal. Arrived at 7:30 and three courses later -at 8:20 was out the door. Meal was fine. Service was too fine. Had good salad. Good pasta. Good dessert. Nothing to write home about.

I had s really good meal here. I was concerned it was over rated but my dishes were among the best I've had. Although they don't have beers on tap they did have an interesting selection. The place is not inexpensive but the atmosphere is nice and our waitress was very warm and friendly. We had a recommended selection of... More

Loved this place but the bar is right in the middle of the restaurant and there were a LOT of loud drunken guys at the bar (in suits) and it was too noisy to talk until they left at about 9.30pm...otherwise very nice place with great ambience and food. Excellent wine list at great value. Enjoyed it a lot but... More

Having eaten here several times over the years, our party of six stopped by the bar to avoid a Friday afternoon rain storm. After having several drinks and appetizers over a 3 hour period we asked the bar tender where we could get a good burger, and he informed us that they served an awesome burger. We were seated outside... More

The food was delicious. We tried a variety of dishes and appetizers and everything was cooked to perfection. The duck was absolutely amazing. Desserts were the perfect way to end our delicious meal.

What a great visit. Firstly the restaurant looks classy and the staff were polite and professional. The food and wine were absolutely delicious and we were very impressed with the selection available. Heading downstairs to the bathroom it was fun to read the press clippings and see the signed De Nero posters. This meal was a highlight of our trip... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
