Having found out this restaurant was co owned by Bob De Niro we just had to visit. Getting a table wasn't too difficult and we enjoyed the 32oz rib eye steak between the two of us which was so well cooked! The ale selection is good also. The route to the restroom was particularly great if you are a fan... More

Came here for dinner on Saturday night after visiting the 9-11 museum and hearing great things. The food was good, but the menu was limited. Also it was not crowded at all and they stuck us in the back corner. It wasn't bad, but i will not be back.

Booked as a present from a more than courteous boss. Lovely location, outstanding service, stunning food. This was a gift, and whilst I generally like to choose my own restaurant it was a great choice. I was called the day before to confirm, I was treated professionally yet informally(I know that sounds odd!) The young male waiter (designer beard etc,... More

The Tribeca Grill has been in the same location for quite a long time and has always been popular. I had not been there in about a decade and found it mostly unchanged. The service is good, as is the food. It is a little dark and noisy, but the noise level is not excessive. My friend had a very... More

The restaurant is good with very nice decoration. However, I believe that the price paid for the offered plates was high. In any case is a good restaurant but a bit pricey. That was the reason for giving 3 stars and not 4.

Wandered in for a drink and a quick bite last month. We were very surprised to just walk right up to the bar and get 2 seats right away on a Friday night. Heavy hand on the cocktails and very tasty small plates. The grilled octopus was the best I have had. It is so tough to grill octopus so... More

Just back from this restaurant. I checked the temp outside - 77 degrees - it was noticeably hotter in the restaurant. All four of us were uncomfortable. Great atmosphere although I imagine it could get a little loud, but we really liked the decor. The food was above average - salmon, tuna app, scallops and duck were all good. Scrimpy... More

Food was excellent and waiting staff were very good but it lacked a bit of atmosphere. This was my first visit for many years and I was surprised it was not packed and more on a Saturday night. Still a great choice for dinner - thoroughly enjoyed it.

We went for breakfast 2 days ago when visiting 9-11 memorial and today for lunch on the way to Staten Island ferry, and we both thoroughly enjoyed both visits, again with most restaurants we had to leave food as there was way too much. The staff were very friendly and helpful and could not have done anymore. Will definitely recommend... More

This restaurant may have been great years ago....but it isn't right now. Service was lovely but it doesn't make up for the incredibly not okay food. First, rolls were brought to the table - warm, but totally without taste, white rolls. This was not a good sign. Lentil salad was good but such a small portion and also quite expensive.... More

Neighborhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year.
