Celebrated my boyfriends birthday here. Steak was amazing. Got the tuna tartare and it was alright. The corn was really good and so was the mashed potatoes. Definitely a steakhouse worth visiting.

I don't know what all the hype is about this place. I adore steak and eat it out all the time and this experience was average at best. The strip loin was good but not great and at $55 for a 14 0z I would have liked it to be great! The sides were good but got cold so quickly.... More

Decided to pop in with no reservation and was met with big smiles and a great table! The cocktails were delicious, and our waitress was knowledgeable. The Hubs got the filet, I got the ribeye. We nixed the pepper crust, and the steaks were done perfectly! Also ordered the cipollini onions and green beans - perfect!

This is a small intimate place with a bar in front and densely positioned tables in the back. The menu centers around steak so I choose the Dry Aged New York Strip. But I wanted more than steak so I started with the beet salad and ordered a side of roasted Brussel sprouts, Service was a touch slow but this... More

The ambience is charming, excellent steaks (fillet on bone is the best). However appetizers and sides were only average. Good wine list, good service. Prices are highish

High end restaurant $600 bill poor staff. Rude obnoxious. Waiter should have been employed by Denny's. They screwed up on my steak twice but did an AMAZING job recovering. Then when trying to pay the waitress crapped all over their effort. I was gonna give a 4 but that's quickly changed. I'm sure this situation was unique and probably will... More

The trouble is the comparison. There are far too many great steak houses in NYC. The steak was good, wine list fair, and service strong. Just not enough for a "5"...

There was nothing wrong with my steak or the atmosphere but in the end I've been to a few in Manhattan and this one didn't stand out in any way.

Remember Luger? The clean look? The attitude? The flavor? Well, two out of three ain't bad. The attitude is missing. The flavor and distance is between none of your thoughts. I ordered the steak for 2 and half plateau seafood platter. Delicious. The dirty martini left the mark of cleanliness not just burning sensation. We never ordered dessert and the... More

The food is excellent. The service is also very good. It is a very atypical NY steak house. I thought the bar tender was excellent. He knows how to prepare a Makers Manhattan. I think the decor is in need of a face lift. The duck fat potatoes were a hit but the main attraction was the steak which was... More

A sultry steakhouse in New York City’s Greenwich Village where old-world glamour meets modern style and sophistication. Experience the combination of charred cuts perfectly paired with decadent sides, such as Truffle Creamed Spinach and Goose Fat Potatoes. And be sure to save room for the famed 24-Layer Chocolate Cake. Named a top steakhouse by Zagat and awarded four stars by Forbes, the namesake cut of aged beef isn't the only work of art to marvel upon...just take a look at the walls and tell us you don’t agree. Black and white vintage photos of bordello girls from the original 1900’s Studio Manasse collection reference an era of decadence and seduction. Visit our second NYC location, the new Strip House Midtown at 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, or on the Las Vegas Strip at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
