My second visit to Bouley in 13months and it justified a return. Excellent food, the lunch time tasting menu is very good. I went with friends and we all enjoyed the long lunch. Service could be better. I am not a fan of service American - it feels rushed. Will return next year. If table service is improved this place... More

My wife and I were returning from a European vacation; we decided to do the layover in NYC enroute to our home in Alaska. I made reservations a month in advance and knew it would be a great surprise. The entire evening was wonderful, the service impeccable and the food, oh my goodness. Every morsel would simply melt like warm... More

After the closure of our favourite NYC restaurant, Collichio's we were trying to find a replacement. Bouley was highly rated but our experience was disappointing. The food and service was OK, the starter good... but it was not great. My wife is now GF and they didnt really cater well, brought her bread after 2mins earlier being told she was... More

Just not up to par with Le Bernadin or Per Se but worth going to. The food creativity is not as inventive as Alinea or Noma, but very flavorful and cooked to perfection.

Having lunch at Bouley was a once a life time experience. It was a feast for all senses. From the aroma of the fresh apples at the entrance, the beautiful decor of the waiting area, to every course of the meal .... Service was excellent. The food was exquisite. The 5 course sampling lunch was worth every penny of it.... More

I've eaten at Bouley several times over the last 10 years but it had been a long time since my last visit and i was pleasantly surprised to see that the place had not lost its touch. The food remains creative and delicious with lovely presentation. Service is impeccable and the decor is lovely. I must add that we had... More

The décor of Bouley was exceptional. We enjoyed the walls of apples and the waiting room that was decorated with beautiful furniture and fresh bouquet. Even the ladies room is quite enjoyable. We went for lunch but I have to honestly say that the tasting menu was a bit disappointing. I suppose the regular courses would be a lot better.... More

Yes this is a stunning restaurant, beautiful reception area and main ground floor dining room. Disappointingly we were ushered past tables on that floor to the basement dining area..which was still beautiful but without the same atmosphere. One very noisy table for 4 and a second quiet table of 2 were dining there. Unfortunately the group of four very loud... More
