Located in the village we boked a table 10 pm(!) rather late but the only awailiable with short notice.. Entered a totally crowde restaurant filled with people, very noisy, beeing 60 probably made me senior, age 25-35 seem to be average. Ordered what my daughter's tipped "the second best burger in the world" (haven't located no 1 yet..) Was not... More

My wife and I went to the Minetta Tavern on a Thursday at about 11:45 AM with no reservations, the doors open at 12pm on Thursday. Double check the hours on line but this restaurant is not open on Monday and Tuesday. There was a total of 5 people waiting to get into the restaurant right at opening. Dinner reservations... More

Went here for a Mothers Day lunch. Wanted to try the red label burger. It was very good, but small for $30. My husband and I tend to split a burger along with an appetizer. We easily could have eaten a whole one. Our appetizer was the bone marrow. Had probably had about 1 tablespoon total of bone marrow. I... More

Opportunity to go have a black label burger. Found it Bland. Under seasoned. Onions resembled mush. Not worth the $28.

I was the guest to be shown the surprises Village hides from the average out of town visitors and the choice was amazing. Yes there were some hiccups-small tables, on the pricey side, a sort of intimidating bouncer at the door, waiting at the bar even if you are 10 minutes early for your reserved time slot- but the overall... This is my first review ever on a site, and my disappointment was overwhelming enough to take the time. Burger was really poor, and extremely over priced. Atmosphere is fabulous, friendly people, just don't bother with the burger, Ralph Lauren's polo bar is the best burger in the city, hands down.

I went here on the recommendation of a friend but am sorry I did. The greeting and seating was abrupt and rude as opposed to welcoming and warm which you would expect. After being shown to an uncomfortable corner, we were served a drink and almost immediately informed we would have to order dinner (which we had intended) or leave.... More

This is THE perfect spot for dinner in Greenwich Village. Great location - right in the heart of it, surrounded by boutique shops and other owner operated restaurants. Food was outstanding!! Think French high end restaurant & NY Diner combined - upscale yet semi casual. Small spot, just the right amount of people so it's full but not jam packed.... More

Its difficult to land a reservation, but we were lucky. We had the minetta burger and the famous black label burger and, although a bit skeptical about how good would they be, they both were delicious. Excellent atmosphere and service, cool people in a cool lively neighborhood.

I saw a TV show about this place and couldn't get the cooking images out of my mind. I was set on going to Minetta for meat, specifically steak or the classic hamburger. We went for lunch since evening reservations were unavailable. The place was packed, even at the bar. We ordered drinks, which were very good. Although the brunch... More
