Fortunately we pre-booked a table a few weeks earlier for this popular restaurant . Everyone enjoyed their dishes, the desert a grand Marriner soufflé was delicious and big enough to share . You have to pre-order it when you order your mains. It arrived on cue once we had finished our mains. The outside of the building looks like it... More

Place is great - from the bar to the table. Love the marrow to start. The steak is great. If you are going for the famous burger - may I suggest getting 2 - they are that good and will spoil you with enjoying any other burger than this one.

Upon walking in you feel as if you were taken back 80 years in time. The staff are all very cordial and helpful as well. Their drink selection has many unique options as well as a top class bar staff that is willing to make whatever you like if you choose to go off menu. As for the food, I... More

The Michelin rating carries with it a certain level of expectations. This place greatly exceeds those expectations with every single detail of your experience. First, this is quintessentially New York classic style fine dining. Do yourself a favor, get there early enough to have a cocktail at the bar. The bar tenders are true professionals, using timeless techniques and producing... More

A colleague took me here because he said I had to try the Black Label Burger - it did not disappoint. It's a mix of three types of beef hand ground. The flavor is so pure and delicious it doesn't need cheese or any other condiments it's a beautiful burger. It has a very Mad Men feel - dark wood... More

If you want to splash out on a fantastic burger then I would definitely recommend this place. It has a great 'old New York' ambience which we loved and gave a great atmosphere to the evening. We all had burgers - I went for the black label burger which was very nice, the meat just melted in the mouth. I... More

I highly recommend this restaurant for its lovely vibrant atmosphere, great service, professional bartenders and their BLACK LABEL BURGER. It's like no other burger! From the outside the restaurant almost looks closed, but on the inside it's a lovely setting!

Finally made it to Minetta Tavern. Tried brunch. Friendly staff. Good choices but had to have Black Label Burger. Absolutely met expectations - was extraordinary.

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
