Great restaurant, delicious from start to finish. Service was exceptional and absolutely loved the playlist... Red Hot Chili Peppers greatest hits and then AC/DC.

We had dinner at Babbo with friends whom we haven't seen in a while. And while we all enjoyed the food, we were less happy with the very loud music which prevented us from being able to have a proper conversation. We asked several times...More

First night in New York. This supposedly top rank restaurant was a big disappointment as well as being extremely crowded. A sort of pack 'em high and sell 'em a very expensive meal at a tiny table place . I wouldn't mind paying top dollar...More

The best Gnocchi with Braised Oxtail and beef carpaccio with so much black truffles and strong dirty vodka martini (make that 2 martinis) and grapefruit cosmo. Attentive staff and so well timed service. Great dining for two or four. Money well spent.

First time at Babbo. The menu was a bit complex and overwhelming. Now that I am familiar, I feel my ordering experience would be better. The items we ordered were: Black spaghetti with rock shrimp ( just ok, shrimp a bit overcooked) Wild Striped Bass...More

It's sad to think a celebrated chef like Mario Batali can deliver such an exciting menu with such unexciting results. It's not bad -- it's hearty and rich. The bread was great, a Hazlenut Cake superb. It's a great setting upstairs. Service is excellent. But...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
