We worked really hard to get a reservation here, and were very excited. Honestly all six of us were very disappointed. This restaurant is very quaint & has a nice ambiance. It seems its a restaurant for locals, more than tourists. We had a nice corner table, but not sure if our waiter remembered it was there. The service was... More

Good Italian restaurant in Greenwich village. Warm ambience with professional staff. Mostly filled with locals. The cuisine is really good with excellent quality ingredients. Nothing fancy or innovating but you can't go wrong with this one. The wine list is good and the lunch 4 course menu is a bargain for a New York Michelin star restaurant. I can easily... More

I was initially very excited about going. I heard so much about the place over the years and to be truly honest it was really not worth the price & or the hype. This place has been open for over 10 years and we never got to go. Went with my partner for his birthday on a busy Saturday night.... More

It's been a little while since I've been there, but I still regard my trip to Babbo as one of my standout culinary experiences. The iconic restaurant deserves its legendary status. Batali's modern Italian cuisine did not disappoint. Grilled guinea hen was tender and succulent; the seasoning and prep allowed it to taste uniquely its own, and not like generic... More

During my recent visit to NY went for dinner at Babbo and had a wonderful culinary experience, great service and wine pairing was fabulous.

So disappointed. Server provided very little information. He demanded we order everything at one time. Taking his suggestion, we ordered. Not enough food. We left hungry with half bottle. Service did not match the excellent food.

Went for lunch. Entire experience was ok... every dish was satisfactory but kind of dull. There are dozens of restaurants in NYC that I prefer. Very average

We had an awesome meal, with excellent service but the music was so loud you could not converse over it. We ordered way too much because it all looked, sounded, and tasted delicious.

Our second time at this New York classic and we were not disappointed. Interesting menu with something for every taste palette. My choices included grilled octopus, beef cheeks ravioli and roasted rabbit. Extensive and expensive wine list but found a wonderful red for under $100. Service was efficient. Noise level can be a bit loud but doesn't distract from the... More

Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel.
