We had dinner here Saturday night with another couple. Started with a dozen and a half fresh oysters that were amazing. Paired that with a nice bottle of French Chablis recommended by the wine manager. The ladies each had the red snapper special. I had the cod with mushrooms and the other gentleman had seas bass with miso. All of... More

We ate here for a team dinner while in Soho for meetings. First off, the service was outstanding. Our server (Gio?) was absolutely wonderful. He recommended the Dover Sole to us, and let us know they don't always have this on the menu. nearly all of us got it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also shared a few dozen oysters.... More

My husband and I went to Aquagrill on Saturday for a special occasion. We had an all around awful experience based on both the service and food quality. Our main issues in order of how they occurred were as follows: 1. Table: We arrived and the staff knew this dinner was for a special occasion. We were seated in a... More

It was cold out and we weren't in the mood for oysters but looking around and seeing everyone enjoying them, I have to admit we had some oyster envy. But don't pity us because we had a wonderful meal. I had scallops and my husband had bass. For me the highlight was the crab risotto and polenta sides. The hubby... More

This restaurant is worth a visit if you want good seafood, their crab cake appetizer is amazing! The only thing I would say is not good is the venue. It feels old and outdated, like it used to be a good place 10+ years ago. I will go to another restaurant with equally good seafood with better settings next time... More

I have always liked this place for its excellent seafood, oyster selection and friendly service. It still fits this bill, but the place just feels a little overconfident...it feels like the restaraunt has lost its need to be excellent. It now is a good restaurant, just not a great one.

There was one-half of one small clam in the chowder. The atmosphere is underground cool and the fish (at least the Bronzino) spectacularly fresh though a tad overdone. Service at the bar was crisp with a 2.5X wine markup. The niggardly amount of meat in the soup makes this a 4 star but considering the just above average crab cakes.

I have nothing good to say about this restaurant. Actually, I take that back. The hostess was incredibly accommodating and wanted so badly to make our dining experience better. Unfortunately she was done in by the kitchen. We started with the Manhattan Clam Chowder. It may have been the worst I have ever had. The broth had zero flavor. I... More

We had a fabulous dinner at Aquagrill. They had lots of fresh seafood, some local dayboat options. We all loved each course we tried. I enjoyed the variety of oysters they offered. The Sea Bass specials were to die for.

Lunch here during marathon weekend. Restaurant was three quarters full and a nice vibe. Not blazing any trails here in décor or cuisine but definitely solid. Had a selection of oysters, yellowfin sandwich and salmon BLT. Oysters were a mix of east and west coast and were excellent. Yellowfin was very rare and good as was the salmon BLT. Service... More
