I dropped by to try sea urchins or oysters. I went for the former and they were great. I think I prefer oysters but everything was so fresh here that I think you can't go wrong. I recommend this place for seafood - better than Grand Central (which used to be my favourite).

My husband and I used to dine here on our anniversaries though we stopped going there since there are so many amazing restaurants in the City. Their food is never disappointing and you can't really go wrong if you order their fresh seafood. Oysters are obviously the main thing here and they truly offer a great list with pretty good... Fantastic spot for a brunch tasting of seafood. The place is cozy and ideal for calm NY brunch. The variety of oysters offered stand out and all of them taste as peculiarly as fantastic (perfect appetizer!) But also the mains we had (lobster sandwich and poached eggs on crab) were superb! A Place definitely to visit!

Aqua grill has been around for awhile and is still outstanding!! We started with a few different appetizers: lobster with avocado and grapefruit that was outstanding as was the octopus salad. The grilled bronzino was fabulous as was the tuna dinner. We had fabulous sides: roasted baby artichokes, sautéed spinach, and asparagus. Service was as outstanding as the food!!

Just had lunch at Aquagrill during a week long visit in NYC. The food was ok but nothing special in comparison to price. We opted for the crab cakes and sea bass spring rolls followed by the grilled halibut & sea bass with salad & fries. The decor is hideous and in desperate need of an update and there appeared... I'm a lifetime New Yorker, so I don't know how I ever missed this place. Especially since I love seafood. Took my staff here for our annual holiday lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious. I'm a big oyster fan so I was happy to see about 20 different kinds on the menu. Followed by the blackened grouper and then the most... More

Over the years Aquagrill has gotten a little fancier but the oysters are still great. There is a big but not overwhelming list and the servers are knowledgeable and can help you select oysters that match your taste. That is just the beginning however. There are great choices to follow. On our last visit , the specials included periwinkles and... More

Periwinkles are delicious. Oysters are a little pricey but so fresh that you know you're paying for perfect quality. I've had the spicy tuna tartare and the only problem is that I always want more, more, more! Its so good. Scallops, please order. You won't be disappointed. I highly recommend yellow fin tuna. Restaurant is kind of cozy in terms of... More
