My husband and I had lunch here on 2.11.2017. The staff were friendly and courteous. The food was delish! I had the Monster Roll and Husband had the Teriyaki Beef Meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my sushi! Fresh, flavorful and well presented. W would definitely go here again!

We stumbled into Azuri while looking for a last minute dinner around our hotel. We were not impressed with the food. The upside was that the bill was reasonable for NYC standards. Overall I would not repeat the experience.

We stopped at this restaurant late in the evening and decided on takeaway. We ordered the shrimp teriyaki and seafood Nabeyaki Udon along with veggie Gyozas. The service was prompt and the food was excellent. There were plenty of people dining in.

First choice of restaurants was full, so was heading back to hotel. Passed this spot, checked out the menu and gave it a try. Sushi starters was fresh, well prepared and delicious. Go for the scallops....delicious. Seafood udon was chock full of seafood, with perfectly prepared noodles. Chicken teriyaki was good. Service was pleasant, but slow at times.

Uninterested staff! I got the spicy combo and it was wet and nasty. The sushi rice was dry and tuna was good but scallop tasted fishy. Would not go back.

Azuki is open for lunch and dinner and the food is good and a good value. Lunch specials include obento, salmon, sushi and giant bowls of ramen for cold, chilly days. Reasonable service, nice ambiance in a neighborhood where these attributes are generally lacking.

This is a fine Japanese Eatery in the Madison Square Garden area and there was nothing to keep you from trying it. Salmon Teryaki was complimented by my dinner partner. My Azuki Sashimi was very good and generous with variety and portion. The distinguishing dish here was Seafood Dynamite, an appetizer that was unusual and quite delicious: grilled chopped shrimp,... This isn't a luxury location or atmosphere with vibe. No it's simple a clean Japanese restaurant managed by a Chinese team. I had Sushi Rolls Azuki and service it's efficient

Small sushi place, hidden by the giant Chinese restaurant next door. Been here 4-5 times and it's reliable. Only peeve is they keep it really cold indoors. But the sushi is good and fresh, they keep the hot tea coming and the appetizers are delicious. I've only had sushi there with some appetizers but they also offer other dishes, classic... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
