We'll never have anything like this back in the Midwest, so the chunky lobster rolls from Luke's are a unique treat here! I expect you can do better (and certainly cheaper) in New England, but this seems like a pretty good stand in.

Luke's is in a very trendy, up market dining plaza right near the south end of Central Park. It sells the most gorgeous fish - lobster, shrimp, crab - in tiny warm brochettes. We bought these and sat at a bar very nearby and drank a very nice Musadet while people watching. We went back 3 times!

Had my first ever Lobster Roll here. Did a bit of research online to find a place to go and I was not disappointed. Could easily have eaten 2 or 3!

The bread was toasted just nice, the lobsters in the roll were also succulent. A very good meal other than the usual burgers that you will have in New York.

Probably the most expensive and tasteless lobster roll I've had. The only good thing there is the bread and the mayo, definitely overrated and not for true lobster lovers

We found the place via Tripadvisor and have decided that we should definitely try this taste bomb trio. I think about a while for how can I describe in a best way about those little heavenly food. And then, realised that each person who thinks about to visit this place knows better what they^re doing.

In autumn 2014 when I first tasted Luke´s rolls I was just blown away with shear delight and immediately got addicted. Had them 3 times for lunch. Now back in town 2 years later Luke´s was the first place I headed to. The recepie had changed and the pure, utterly fresh, crisp and juicy seafood filling now has more ingredients,... More

My husband and I booked our Dec 2016 trip to New York City in Jan 2016 and I spent a good chunk of time between researching and planning our itinerary; TripAdvisor was one of my main sources for ideas. I can't recall precisely but I expect that I decided to visit Lukes Lobster based on TripAdvisor information. I do remember... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
