The absolute worst for delivery. Completely wrong order, blamed others even when acknowledging the mistake, worst customer service ever, no offer of anything. We are just out $100 for something we can’t eat. Total fraud, never use them, ever

It’s lovely Indian restaurant. Food is good and the service is great. Prices are convenient , the atmosphere is peaceful
This place is a tru delight. All the dishes we tried were really good and authentic. They also have a very nice and "modern" vibe to the place. Overall, highly recommended (and do make a reservation!)
I went to Malai Marke for lunch during my New York stay. The restaurant is a bit of a narrow aisle, but in a modern make up. I liked it. The service was very attentive, but there were only a couple of tables busy... The...food was really good. The chicken very tender and the vegetables crisp. The spicing was very subtle yet intense. My dish was not very hot, but extraordinarily tasty. Also the Naan bread is worth mentioning - just yummy. I do recommend the place.More
In the middle of East Village, on a street with several Indian restaurants. Stopped for lunch. Nice clean place with pleasant staff. Both the Chicken Tikka and the Lamb Dhansak were very tasty. (We wondered, though, if the lamb was really lamb or beef?). In...any case, we liked it and will be back.More
Met up with an old pal who lived in the Village for a reasonable, hearty portioned, tasty Indian meal. Comfortable digs helped us catch up on old times. Very highly recommend!
Went with some friends and tried several dishes to share among the 5 of us. All the the food was well prepared, but the Lamb Ragon Josh was the hands down winner. Coconut rice was excellent as well. Very good food, spice level on point,...and attentive service.More
In NYC for New Year and looking for dinner before a river cruise celebration. Easy to book and very attentive staff, but, the best bit was the food. We love Indian cuisine, either in a restaurant or cooking at home, this place lived up to...some of the best we have had, and at a reasonable price too. Many thanks for helping to make our NYE extra special.More
Each of us had the $13 lunch special—lamb, shrimp, chicken, and chickpea. Each dish was excellent (I tried all of them, and everyone liked his own dish too). Sauces were tasty and the main ingredients (lamb, shrimp, chicken, and chickpeas) were very good. Bread was...hot and tasty. Came with rice and cabbage, which were both good too. Very friendly staff. Portion size was good (except maybe a little light on the lamb dish but otherwise fine). We will definitely come back.More
Stumbled on this place for lunch when the place I planned to go to was closed. Food is stellar, inexpensive and the place is pleasant with great service. I had Lamb Dansak, which was amazing. Great beer selection too. $10 Taj Mahal. Go.
Went for lunch on a blazingly hot day when the a/c was apparently off and the place was empty. But it had an A rating and lots of good reviews, so we took a chance. Lots of selections on the lunch (including vegetarian, chicken, lamb...and shrimp choices) menu for $11.95 and I was pleasantly surprised first at the size of the portions -- several pieces of naan each, a bowl full of dahl, a bowl full of nicely seasoned shredded cooked cabbage, and chicken saag for me and lamb jogan rosh for my companion. The boneless chicken was tender and the lamb was lean. Defiinitely would come back.More
We walked down E. 6th Street looking for a restaurant to eat at last Thursday night. It was the busiest Indian restaurant on the block, and had an A rating as well as an interesting menu, so we went in. The portions were large and...while spiced, but they weren't hot spicy. The spices complemented the food without overwhelming them. There were many vegetarian choices as well. My husband had the konju pappas (shrimp with coconut milk and tomato sauce) and I had the lamb saag (lamb stem with spinach). We shared a rice with peas and still had plenty to take home for the next day. The service was good and our waiter was very helpful. My only complaint is that everything is a la carte, but then again so were all the other Indian restaurants on the block. I highly recommend this restaurant.More
Quaint fine dining Indian experience. Food was awesome and ambiance was very nice too. Great for large parties or for an intimate date night. Excellent food (if you're a vegan or vegetarian...Yes, yes, yes!), but be prepared to pay somewhat, but well worth it from...my perspective! Giddy up to Malai Marke!More
Reading mixed reviews, I was slightly apprehensive about eating here. But I have to say that the lunch dishes my partner and I ate were just brilliant. The spices worked perfectly, the service was just right - one of the best Indian meals I have...had in this part of the city.More
