In NYC for New Year and looking for dinner before a river cruise celebration. Easy to book and very attentive staff, but, the best bit was the food. We love Indian cuisine, either in a restaurant or cooking at home, this place lived up to...More

Each of us had the $13 lunch special—lamb, shrimp, chicken, and chickpea. Each dish was excellent (I tried all of them, and everyone liked his own dish too). Sauces were tasty and the main ingredients (lamb, shrimp, chicken, and chickpeas) were very good. Bread was...More

Stumbled on this place for lunch when the place I planned to go to was closed. Food is stellar, inexpensive and the place is pleasant with great service. I had Lamb Dansak, which was amazing. Great beer selection too. $10 Taj Mahal. Go.

Reading mixed reviews, I was slightly apprehensive about eating here. But I have to say that the lunch dishes my partner and I ate were just brilliant. The spices worked perfectly, the service was just right - one of the best Indian meals I have...More

I live outside of the USA, so whenever I get back, Indian cuisine is always on my list. This time, many that I knew were either closed or not as good as before. So I decided to try this place, and I was pleasantly surprised....More
