When we arrived the atmosphere was nice and the menu had plenty to choose from. However our waiter was rude and unhelpful. After having to send back a bloody hamburger they send out the same hamburger without even cooking it more. Our waiter did not care at all that we were unhappy with our food and avoided coming back to... More

The hotel recommended Bloom's for breakfast last year and it was so good that we returned again this year . . . just a great old-fashioned American breakfast with lots of coffee refills!

Visited as part of a party of five. Thought it would be handy as it was close to our hotel and had good reviews on here. Mistake. The food was average at best, quite dry and lacking seasoning. The best part was the toast which was actually very nice. Our server and the way she treated us was shocking. My... More

Waiters were great. Food was very good, just too much food. NY Deli Experience at it finest. Prices were reasonable compared to most of New York.

We were in a rush and stopped at Boom's Deli, very near Grand Central Station. What a surprise! The food was wonderful, the portions were huge, the service was friendly and efficient, and the prices -- for the City-- were more than fair. It's nice place for a breakfast, lunch or dinner -- with or without children. We live in... More

Fast service, great waitress, great food - what a diner is all about. I went for pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. All delicious. Mid town location so very handy to see lots of things as soon as you're refuelled on some great US breakfast fayre.

Our hotel Renwick was only 30 meters from Bloom's. The breakfast was typical american - I guess - we are coming from Scandinavia... We got our omelettes in 5 minutes, my son ordered a hamburger and it took 7 minutes as promised. The portions were huge, the servise was efficient, very friendly and extremely fast. The food was good. If... More

We had an enjoyable lunch. They have a nice menu- sandwiches, breakfast foods, brunch items, potato pancakes, salads, desserts and drinks. My husband and I shared a combo deli sandwich- roasted turkey and corn beef- on rye bread. We also ordered two potato pancakes. The sandwich was stuffed and very fresh and the potato pancakes were good too. In addition... More

Another great meal at Blooms Cafe. This restaurant on 40th and Lexington is one of my must do's whilst in Manhattan. I always have the Pastrami Burger but my wife over the years has eaten pretty much everything on the menu. We have never had a bad experience here with great food, great service and great value I would recommend... More

We walked in and the service was terrible. The glasses and silverware were dirty. The food made me feel sick after I ate it. This has to be one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to in my life. disgusting and terrible are the only way to describe this experience.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
