I dropped in about 4:15 for a very late lunch. Amazingly, they still were running lunch specials till 4:30. And what great food!!! Probably the best hot and sour soup that I have EVER had, and a very interesting ma po tofu with black beans...More

We recently took a trip to the Upper West Side. After a long day of walking we ordered some Chinese takeout to eat in our room with chopsticks in NYC. For NY we felt the pricing was very good. Food was done in 10 minutes...More

Couldn't believe the queues on a really cold day, out the shop and along the pavement! Then tasted the cookies, expensive but absolutely divine!!

Best Chinese on UWS. Great fish with flower pepper, casseroles, bitter melon, sour long beans, all the things one would die to have uptown: and we do. Not trendy but friendly, liquor license yes, great lunch specials. Please let them stay in business!!!!!!

Will spare you our life story, but we were tired, and this place was by the hotel. It was not great. Good dumplings but the egg rolls were small and mediocre. Good spicy beef. However, when we asked for spicy mustard it was served watered...More
