Good variety and very tasty doughnuts. Very friendly staff. A few places to sit but people come and go constantly so you can always wait a bit and get a sit. I definitely recommend it.

We've got a lot of artisanal doughnut shops around the city; doughnut plant remains a family favorite, especially the cake doughnuts. Fresh, moist, and wonderful. The Tres Leches, Coffee Cake, and the Brooklyn Blackout are always winners.
Their donuts aren't cheap but are quite good! Their drink menu is a bit overwhelming and confusing. We got a green tea matcha donut, blueberry donut and a PB&J donut with 2 iced coffees (really good coffee) ! It was a nice stop and fills...More
There were a lot of husbands, and like many other customers, my husband and I couldn't decide what to order. So, we ordered one cake doughnut (blueberry) and one yeast (chocolate). I didn't even finish the yeast doughnut because it was dry and chewy, and...More
On a recent visit to NYC, and after working out at the OTF nearby, I was headed to the High Line when I spontaneously happen upon Doughnut Plant! I just had a fantastic work-out! So, why not.... I am a traditionalist and thus honed in...More
Full disclosure: I prefer yeast to cake donuts and many of the competitors (Dough for example) only carry cake. Doughnut Plant carries both so the perfect place to go if you cannot decide or if you are with friends who do not share the same...More
Coffee is average. The bluberry seed donut reminded me of childhood jelly donut. Carrot cake donut was great. Valrhona chocolate was awesome. Pass on the peanutbutter bannana donut. Filling tasted spoiled. Strawberry dough flower was both beautiful and delious.
I wished we could have tried them all, but my husband and I shared three--two doughnuts and one cinnamon bun. They were all fabulous, but the creme brulee doughnut was out of this world. Customer service was great, too.
