Unfortunately, my bagel was dry and stale. Maybe it was left over from the previous day. We got it take out left, otherwise, I’d have returned it. Someone else got a bagel here and their’s was quite good. For that reason, I'll rate this average.
We had breakfast bagels here earlier this week and they were decent. The bacon egg, lettuce, tomato and cheese bagel I had was very good. There wasn't as much bacon on it as the one I had the day before at another shop. Both my...wife and daughter enjoyed their bagel with cream cheese.
It's all take out right now but there are tables outside.More
I first found out about this spot because of Timothee Chalamet-(Timothee if you're reading this I LOVE U) and I had to give it a try. Let me just tell you, this bagel shop went above and beyond my expectations. I got crispy bacon and...an egg on an everything bagel and it was AMAZING. 1000/10 recommend.More
Honestly skip it. The manager is rude, a yeller. Not a good way to start the day. They have always been kind of inefficient but the owner used to hang around and smooth the edges. Now they have someone I don't recognize and he yells...and waves his arms. if I wanted to eat with Archie Bunker I'd turn on the TV.More
First time trying the heralded bagel/breakfast spot and it did not disappoint! I got The Weezer breakfast sandwich and it may have been one of the tastiest sandwiches I’ve ever had. I won’t spoil what was on it... but if you enjoy a little kick...on your bagel sandwich... and are not a vegan... this is the one for you.
The sandwich and my large coffee were about $15, which is reasonable in the area, but steep by national comparison. Nonetheless, it’s worth the visit. Hard to tell during this unprecedented time period... but I imagine during “normal” times this spot is a mob scene.
Worth the hype. Would return in a heartbeat. Try the Weezer!More
The BEST bagels! So much choice with such friendly and helpful staff. The cream cheese selection is amazing. If you have some time in a morning, I 100% recommend this place for breakfast. I had a cinnamon and raisin bagel with cookie dough cream cheese...which was just what I needed this morning.More
This is by far the best bagels in New York they are plump they are fresh they are warm and delicious. A wide variety of bagels with a wide variety of fillings to fill those yummy bagels with. The owner Chris is a sweetheart and...the people who work there are very attentive. Highly recommend this bagel store on 2nd Avenue off East12th St. in the East Village.More
Best Bagels in NYC!
I always stop in for a bagel when I visit the city. The service is great and the bagels are amazing! I also always take a dozen home! They are so nice, they wrap them in Saran Wrap and double bag...them to keep them fresh!More
The line on Saturday was huge, at least 30 people. I waited and was glad I did. The staff was very efficient and friendly and things moved quickly. They seemed happy to be working there.
The bagels are so fresh they might still be warm...when you receive them, no need to toast. These bagels are on par with the best I've ever had. Stuffed with fresh ingredients. Even the extras available like Natalie's OJ, the chips, dessert bars, all just heavenly good. And the bagels are only a few dollars. They have pancakes, french toast, omelettes, etc available too and a decent amount of seating. Definitely go for breakfast if you're near Tompkins Square Park.More
