Myself and my husband returned to this wine bar after spending a glorious afternoon here sipping wine two years ago. We recently again had another lovely afternoon here sharing a bottle of wine and sitting in the window seats. There is a lovely relaxing vibe...More

We’ve eaten here before on week nights and have never been disappointed. It can be difficult to get a seat at times and the basement doesn’t quite have the same vibe. We ventured in today for a late Sunday lunch and it was a lot...More

Every single time me and my wife visit New York we go to this place. Either to have an entire meal or just order some wine and have something to share this place is great. I love the food and every minute I spend here.

Italian restaurant, serve good food although relatively small plates (easily made a decent meal with a side), well priced (14$ main 10$ per glass wine) wine specialists, cosy decor and layout, really nice staff, willing to help and very attentive.

A real neighborhood restaurant/bar. The candlelit room creates a great atmosphere perfect for drinking great wine. It is slightly disappointing how you only get offered a proper wine glass after a certain price of wine bottle, even when spending a large amount on food -...More

This is a great tiny, cozy hole in the wall place to go back to often. Even though it seems that everyone is on top of each other, the ambiance, atmosphere and tapas are great, as is the bread. I had a very good bolognese...More

First time we discovered this place in 2011 and decided to come back because of the cheesecake I had in 2011 (it was delicious!!). So this time we thought it would be nice to eat there as well. Well maybe because it was a Friday...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
