The place looks nice, modern and kind of cosy, even while it is quite a big restaurant. Staff is friendly and fun. Food and drinks taste good and looks good. We went here for both breakfast and lunch. While both were delicious, we were a little bit shocked by the price for breakfast. We paid around $60 for two teas,... More

I've been to this chain many times, in various locations around the city and in Los Angeles...As other restaurants often do, they change the menu items...When I asked for something not on the current menu, I was quickly answered, YES, absolutely...The service and food quality as always was excellent.

Loved several veggie selections. The pad Thai salad and the hummus veggie terrine platter was great. My friends ordered the avocado and chia seeds on gluten free bread. Nice atmosphere and helpful servers. You can have a special test when you download their app and show it to them.

Sadly this location of the chain is far from stellar. I've been to this location numerous times over the years but this last visit was a disappointment. There were no water glasses when were seated so we were given paper cups, the service was exceptionally slow (although our waiter was apologetic) and some of our food didn't come out as... More

I picked this particular Pain Quotidien for its location as I was meeting a colleague to go over some papers during lunch. I've usually order healthy stuff here and this particular time I had some soup and a vegetable quiche. To finish I enjoyed a cappuccino. The soup and the quiche were quite good, however the portion was so somewhat... More

I remembered it as a good breakfast place.. but was very disappointed. The bread was un fresh. They messed up the bills with other tables. The oat porridge was tasteless with a few berries spread on top. Just the latte is fine, there are much better breakfast options in the area.

I was on jury duty downtown, my friend and I looked for a place for lunch, and went to Le Pain Quotidien. I had been to other branches many times but never to this one. It's my favorite, it has the coziest atmosphere. Delicious food, as always. Our server was Jessie, she was warm and gracious, marvelous.

Another nice neighborhood place for breakfast or an afternoon coffee break. We visited during our stay in Duane hotel in December. Favorite is the great selection of sweet pastries and the fantastic bread ... We will be back next time we are in the neighborhood...

We were hoping to find a really excellent lunch. The open faced sandwiches were quite bland. Definitely overpriced for what we got. The decor and atmosphere were very nice in a rustic chic kind of way. Service was slow despite a mostly empty restaurant at 130PM on a weekday.

This restaurant has all organic food. (ex: No sodas). The food was good. Our waitress seemed distressed that my wife and I wanted to split a sandwich. (It was plenty.) The service was slow. We will probably pass on a second visit.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
