Lives up to the reputation. Great food from a cart and they give you lots. Ask for extra bread, you'll want it.

Always a necessary stop for lunch when I’m New York City. Good speedy service, even when the lines are long.

While in New York City you see food carts everywhere, basically selling the same food, some good some bad, however The Halal Guys have only a few carts but the food is fresh and amazing! Love the stake and chicken wraps and their garlic sauce.

Incredible food. Was a bit reluctant on trying street good but the chicken beef combo is a blast. And it is also not expensive. $8 only for a full meal.

Affordable and filling. And there's many people eating it and sitting on the ledge. Very good location too. Beware, the chilli sauce is very spicy!

It's amazing how well organized these guys are because they do huge amount of sales and need to keep their small food truck stocked with all the items on the menu and maintain hygiene as well. Food was served immediately and it was very tasty

Honestly I would ask them. I have only had the mixed platters and sandwiches when I have eaten there or something meat related. The salads and rice do not have anything meat based that I know of.

The meat (either beer or chicken, or a combo of both), some seasoned yellow rice and a lettuce based salad. Then you can ask for the sauce -- on the side -- they have a creamy white (garlic) sauce or a spicy red sauce.
