What all coffee shop wish they could be-! We requested almond milk! And they had a good quality (not the kind with to many stabilizers). We asked for a Rooibos tea: and they had that too! Everyone happy - friendly staff / willing to create half or whole shots of coffee rather than the normal two+ -we love coffee -... More

Tiny coffee shop worth a trip when you're in lower Manhattan. (And they have Tim Tams) Best coffee I had in NYC!

Coffee that would make just about any Sydneysider satisfied of which the proceeds go to the farmers and their communities who grow and harvest the beans to improve thier way of life. Very responsible and a tribute to Mr Jackman and Co. Nice selection of pastries and doughnuts as well.

A small hole in the wall coffee shop in TriBeCa that is owned by Hugh Jackman. All proceeds go towards a foundation that helps coffee farmers in Ethiopia develop markets. Very good high end coffee, their flat white is their specialty. There is no seating and it gets crowded very quickly. However, it does have a very cool and hip... More

Owned by Hugh Jackman. The coffee beans, and drinks are both of quality - its a shame they do not have enough space for seating. I usually sit on the stoop outside the shop or walk over to the nearby park.

If you like a strong and smooth cup of coffee this is IT. In addition, it has casual outdoor seating, kids dogs people, and a neighborly vibe. A win win.

Had to stop in after we heard about Hugh Jackman's coffee place on the Tonight Show we attended the taping of. Loved the coffee and the unique iced chai.

It's hugh jack and place. He has shown up here. It's a tiny hole in the wall with no seats inside. They do have some outdoor seating now. The coffee is good. Flat white is Hugh's favorite

My husband and I had heard about this little coffee shop from our hotel staff, and we were so glad they recommended this little spot. My husband is very picky about his coffee and thought the coffee at Laughing Man was delicious. I am equally picky about my tea, and thought my hot tea from here was amazing. Beware, there... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
