We had a reunion here and I have to admit none of us really could hear each other - the walls echo back. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was good - and it is a perfect location for many a cock and bull story!

This place had great food. Everyone in our party of six really enjoyed their dinner. The price was very good for New York City.

Got a good chicken pot pie and home brew after the show. Cool little pub, not to busy and I think the beer I ordered was their own ...can't remember the name but it was tasty. Not expensive, standard fare for bar food with character.

The Cock and Bull English Pub has a nice buzz to it, great interior and friendly staff. We had Bangers and Mash and Chicken Pot both which were very good and not expensive. They also had a range of English beer along with wine, cocktails and local beers. Between 6pm and 7.30pm it can be busy so best to book... More

This pub is blisteringly buzzy and noisy. Just the thing to get you into the NYC frame of mind. 😱 Very conveniently located near our hotel ( Sofitel ) so of course we had to try it out. As you do. Staff and customers alike so friendly, service good and according to my husband the beer was pretty good too!!... More

Conveniently located exactly half way between our hotel and the madness that is 5th Avenue shopping on a Saturday afternoon, this was a great resting point for a pint and a snack. Nothing fancy, just the basics, very nice barman and lots of footie on the telly.

Once a month, I have been going out to restaurants with friends for fish and chips in NYC. Fish and chips were good. Fish portion was kind of on the small side. Fries were good. Mushy peas on the bottom of the fish was interesting. Service just adequate. $60 with tip for two fish and chips and two sodas.

A typical British boozer nice pint of cider in old world settings. Like stepping into our own "local". A warm welcome from the staff and I believe they do food too.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
