Dined out yesterday at this gem! The octupus appetizer with spicy sauce is killer and the dumplings are delicious. Enjoyed a nice Argentinian Malbec. Reservations recommended and the service was not perfect but very accommodating.

This restaurant was recommended to us by friends. The food was very good, the service was excellent and the view / ambiance second to none. The table barbecue was done very well and the staff had just the right amount of interaction with us. Everything was well cooked and tasty the flaming Black Forest baked Alaska was amazing not the... Though service was a bit slow, this was a wonderful experience. Great food and great view. We did a Korean BBQ combo and a chicken dish. We also got a small bitmobib (so?). That was my favorite!

Located on the 39th floor of a corner building on Broadway and 32nd Street, Gaonnuri is a classy Korean restaurant with delicious foods and elegant ambiance. The restaurant is pricy compared to other nearby Korean restaurants in Korean Town. But relatively high price is justified by the classy facilities and ambiance combined with delicious foods and excellent service. The presentations... More

My friend and I went for our first visit and had a great time. I was in NYC for a night and met my friend. I wanted something that I could not get at home and we decided on Korean BBQ. I was not expecting an upscale selection but glad she picked this place. I arrived early and enjoyed a... More

Very interesting menu! We wanted something new to try. Glad we decided on this restaurant. I made the reservation through Open Table, easy to do! It held up to the postive reviews. We arrived to our 8:15 reservation and was fairly quickly seated in the lounge area while our table was getting ready. My son ordered the steak and I... More

My wife and I (and my parents) had dinner at Gaonnuri on a Saturday evening. First of all, the view is absolutely out of this world. If you can reserve a table by a window, you should. The food is very good: I had Korean BBQ - the marinated short ribs were delicious (I prefer marinated to "unseasoned.") The calamari... More

Table BBQ is a must try! Very well chosen meat which is bbq'd with utmost attention and sophistication. Nice panoramical views of the great city just add an extra flavor. Great ambiance and outstanding food! Don't dare to go their without a reservation. Even on weekdays!

We have been at Gaonnuri as a group of 6 persons and we were already impressed by the great bar where we had some drinks before our table was ready. We had a table directly besides a window which was amazing. The views into the skyline of NYC are really faszinating. If you are having dinner there you do not... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
