We had previously visited the Boston location and knew that we also had to come here while in New York. The hot chocolate is so rich and delicious! A bit expensive for sure, but really worth it.

My absolute favorite hot chocolate place..and I've tried them all!! Every blend of hot chocolate is amazing - I usually stick to the base and get a Burdick blend of milk chocolate. Dark chocolate blend is also awesome and the single source as well. I just love it! I usually can't resist buying one of the packets to make it... More

I have been a fan of LA Burdick since my first visit to NY several years ago. The hot chocolate is rich, nicely blended with froth milk and it is a cozy place to relax. Chocolate penguins and mice were always great gifts to buy (but a bit pricey if it is with the wooden boxes) and continue to get... More

Everything in here is amazing! Hot chocolate (ohmigosh!), chocolate mice (made with liquor, but can't taste the liquor) (whew!)), brought home their Engadiner Nusstorte as a gift back to Toronto (travelled extremely well). Staff are very friendly, the shop is so cute and the food is fantastic! I will definitely return to this shop, the next time I'm in New... More

I went to this local bakery after I heard that it was really good. I ate a very nice passion fruit chocolate cake accompanied with a hot cappuccino with cream and chocolate. Everything was good!

I purposely went to sample their hot chocolate. A delightful server explained the type they were serving that day. Hot and flavorsome, Worth the trouble to walk there.

We ducked into this shop on a cold day expecting to wait if necessary. What we experienced was a place with six or so tables, occupied, and given up to friends when they showed up even if we came before. When we asked the staff to move a fan from a table, they refused. At 4p.m. The staff was clearly... More

Very cozy place to relax and enjoy hot chocolate. It's like they took a chocolate candy bar and made it into hot chocolate! Very tasty on a cold winter day!

After a good shopping! Tea, hot chocolate with chocolate cake, of course! The place lacks comfort. I prefer more cozy teahouses, but the cakes deserve that we take the time to taste them.

I've been a fan of Burdick for a very long time. Try one of their single source hot chocolates! And, you can't go wrong with any of their chocolate or pastry selections.
