Husband and I visited this weekend for my birthday dinner. We went early (by NYC standards), so it was not loud and busy. We had made an online reservation and were greeted by name when we walked into the restaurant. (Nice start to the evening!) Our waiter was friendly, attentive and not overbearing. We started with the Salmon Carpaccio (wonderful)... More

We found the restaurant on our first night in NYC. After a long day travelling from the UK this place was perfect We shared platter between 2 couples and the lamb, chicken& sausage with the sauces was beautiful. I had the mint tea to finish the meal & it was gorgeous The ambiance of the surrounding was good & the... More

Looks like a normal café from the outside but once inside it is a nice restaurant/café with a dancing area in the back. The Shisha is very good and when we found out that a belly dancer would perform we went to the back of the restaurant that had an Arab-styled room and a DJ played Arabic songs and people... More

I came after dancing with my girlfriend and I was so glad to come here. Atmosphere is relaxing in the back; I love the ceiling drapes. It is so beautiful and the food was amazing. Waiter was very nice and professional. I will definitely come back here. I had the chicken brochetteand mint tea was so tasty. My girlfriend got... More

Wow - that's the only way to describe the experience of Arabian nights in NY. The combination of excellent service, exotic cuisine, live music and DJ, and belly dancers was off the charts fun. The crowd included friends celebrating a birthday, couples and small groups. The picture does not begin to do justice to this place.

My bestie purchased a groupon last year for this restaurant and took me along with her. I was hesitant because I find some restaurants treat you like you pulled out food stamps when you pull out a groupon, but his was not the case! Our server was excellent! The food was excellent! I wish more restaurants would realize the better... More

With no one else at the restaurant, you would expect good, efficient service. Well, that was not the case. To start, we ordered 2 small plate/appetizers- but they bring out 3 appetizers with no explanation. Few minutes later they "apologize" for this mistake. At $13 a glass for the least expensive wine, the volume was minimal and marginal in quality.... More

Went for a late dinner, excellent food. Wait staff is very attentive. They do have hookah later in the evening with live entertainment and belly dancing. What a great time!

Came here for a light lunch with some business associates. We chose a variety of small plates and all was very good. The Arabesque sampler set us up well for what followed. Highly recommend the Salmon Carpaccio and the garlic shrimp. The Chicken cigars with apricots and walnuts was pretty amazing as well. The service was friendly and prompt, ambiance... More

Hi-end morrocan place with sheesha and food. Restaurant and lounge scene.. They have a nice place which had live middle-eastern music with space for dancing. Sheesha was good service is average..not the best place to hang with friends over sheesha coz you will be frequented by servers asking you if you would like to order something else to drink or... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
