I started off with the soup of the day which was a tasteless and very thin Zucchini Soup. The last two times I was here I ordered their Rib Eye Steak which was good. I was looking to try something else this time. That was a mistake, they served the worst Short Ribs (served on the bone) that I have... More

We're from Ohio, but we have family in the neighborhood, and they recommended my wife and I try this spot, just the to of us around 10:30 or 11:00pm. We thought the empanadas were all excellent. The calamari wasn't their best dish, but it wasn't bad by any means. The entrees were both excellent. I had a three meat plate,... More

I've been many times, but it seems when things go wrong, they go wrong spectacularly. And with no attempt at recovery from the management. Two mains sent back, and all I got a was a $6 charge for some fries. AVOID

Nice interior. Great Food. Superb service. The downside was the unbelievable level of noise. 93 decibels during the entire diner with a peak at 101. I happened to have an app which measure noise level. 1 hour at 93 decibel is the upper limit before damaging your ears. Believe it or not we found the streets of NY so quiet... More

This Argentinian restaurant serves a very enjoyable Skirt Steak with your choice of either a salad, mashed or French fried potatoes for $24.95. I had it served medium. It came with two sauces, served on the side.

The restaurant's Beef Empanadas (2), $8, were tasty and mildly spicy. The 14 oz. Rib Eye Steak ($25.95) was good but I have had much better, it came with a choice of potatoes or salad. The decor is simple and the room is dark with a small lit candle in a small cup shaped glass. There are not many Argentinean... More

We got hungry while exploring this upper east side neighborhood and the menu outside looked interesting, so we stopped in. It was hard to decide because everything looked so good, but we finally chose the mixed grille. We were very pleased when the waiter delivered the sizzling hot grill to our table. We were delighted with the short ribs, two... More

A friend and I decided to eat here after having a couple of drinks at a nearby bar. He got the rib eye and I had the blood sausage. The were both excellent, I ate more than I should have. He REALLY likes the sauce he got with his steak. We ordered cocktails off their list and weren't disappointed. I... More

My husband and I are regulars here. One thing I recommend is that you anticipate your steak being slightly over cooked - I always ask for medium-rare to get a medium cooked steak. Their filet mignon is great, esp with the mushroom sauce.

Whenever I walk by this place always seems busy and noisy, and that was true on a late Sunday morning. I had short ribs with eggs and fingerling potatoes. The meat was good but too chewy, I had to cut it in tiny pieces, which took an effort, before getting it down. But overall, this is a good meat place.... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
