Saw great reviews about Amelie on Trip Advisor so booked online before we left the UK and we weren’t disappointed. Fab relaxed atmosphere completely different from the restaurants in Midtown. Food was really good. The only slight disappointment was the menu online was a bit...More

Why Amelie UWS (Amsterdam between 87th and 88th St.) doesn't make it to TripAdvisor is a mystery to me. It has been open for some time. And is very good. A pretty standard bistro menu. Salads were excellent. Black bass main course was quite good...More

Small restaurant that gets crowded and a bit loud. We were a party of six and we were squished into a tight area. The service was friendly and efficient. The Bloody Marys were super and the wine list is interesting. Simple clean decor. The sandwiches...More

We were recommended this place. It is very quaint and trendy. Expect to be seated in a very small, compact, crowded, and noisy environment. The wine flight was excellent. The food was not remarkable. The service was very poor and non attentive. I see lots...More

Delicious experience. Excellent wine list with extensive offerings and reasonable prices. Enjoyed a Saint Julien 2006 which was served at the right temperature. Foie grad was house-made and very flavourful. Amélie salad with truffle vinaigrette was a meal in itself. The boneless trout was cooked...More

This a small rectangular place with a row of small tables along one wall and the bar along the other. The good part of that is that it's easy to get a waiter's attention. They had a nice selection of wine flights and very tasty...More

what a wonderful bistro. Excellent service as we received our drinks and lunch quickly. The attentive staff always around to make sure we were drinking and eating. Atmosphere was very pleasant...like we were in Europe having a laid back meal. Thank you :)

We had heard good things about Amelie, a cozy French restaurant in the Village. We went their for dinner on a recent business trip. we loved the decor and the restaurants vibe. The food and wine were excellent as was the service.

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
