Didn’t feel like cooking so I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl to go. Fabulous choice: a large portion of grilled Salmon, white rice and finely chopped scallions and Broccoli all served up with a rich Teriyaki sauce. Large enough for two meals. Popular place in...the Area.More

The items on the menu seemed very usual Japanese food, meaning, not "Oh my god what the hell is this American with Japanese word slapped on it?" So I was pretty happy. I had a vegan menu which was not labeled vegan, but it was...a vegetable bowl, and the staff verified it was vegan. The portion size was American (big) but the choice of vegetables on the bowl made me happy.More

We went for ramen on a Friday night. The place was almost full, but the service was fast and efficient. Ask to sit in the far section; the tables and chairs are more comfortable. There are about a dozen different types of ramen to choose...from, some mild and some very spicy. You can get extra toppings. The portions are huge. They serve beer but we took advantage of BYOB.More

Jin Ramen is legit. Definitely the best ramen in the neighborhood and is in the discussion for best in the city, IMO. Delicious velvety broths accompany any option you choose. I like the Miso and Tan Tan men. They video of how they make the...broth plays continuously while you eat making it even more enjoyable.More

Very good food and atmosphere, authentic Japanese cuisine. Attentive staff, not super expensive. Cures that ramen craving perfectly

We had been recommended this place and we were very excited to try it. However; (1) we had to constantly look at the waiters and hope they would notice us to get the order in, (2) Over 40 minutes after our order was taken we...asked about our meal and it was clear our order had not even been placed yet, (3) Once it arrived, the vegan dish ordered actually had chicken in it. The person who was eating it was vegetarian by religion and the response of the waiters was just to blame each other and tried to downplay the error. No one took responsibility, the first waitress had already left, and no manager on site. Do not recommend.More

Enjoyed the sights and sounds of being right under the elevated station. Busy place with a few tables and a counter. Can see the food being made. Upbeat staff. Wonderful spicy tonkotsu noodles with kimchi pork set. You won't leave hungry.

I had a teriyaki chicken donburi and was initially overwhelmed by the good tasting scallions, broccoli and cabbage. However the chicken was bland with no seasoning at all. Quit my dish as soon as I ran out of vegetables. Service was rude and impersonal, and...price was quite high. Would not come back.More

來,來,吃碗熱腾腾的#拉麵(#ramen), 是件幸福的事,今天中午我们去了一家自製#麵條 的 #JinRamen Restaurant : 1) #VolcanoShioRamen : Light, salt based( you can asked for less salty) with #chickenbroth, kara-GAO, menma, and a #poachEgg, #sesameSeeds + house noodles (this restaurant famous with their house make noodles) 2) #VolcanoTonkotsuRamen : Creamy, spicy and tasty, they...use pork bones slow cook for broth, served with #chachu pork, soft boiled egg, thin chewy noodles.....this was my favorite ramen. Very yummy and tasty, if you are here in upper west Manhattan, don't forget to try one yourself. #JinRamen 462 Amsterdam Ave New Yor, NY 4-11-2019More
