I've been to this bakery especially for the Cronut. I had a cronut with fruit filling and pudding.
Oh my.... What a taste. Sensation.
I was a bit sceptic, but now I understand why people go here for the cronut.
But.... There's a lot more...More
We would never have visited this bakery if it wasn’t for a friend who lives relatively nearby.
However this bakery is a cute little establishment with a lovely flowery interior towards the back.
My daughter had a cookie shot and we had the cronut, it...More
A cronut has been on the list of desired pastries and we finally had one today well worth the time and trip to soho. As the other reviews have said the line is always long so some advanced planning is well worth it. If all...More
Have had this bakery on my to-do-list for a while now and decided to try it this time. Unfortunately, we came around lunch so cronuts were sold out. Well, this just means we will have to go back :-) Anyway, they have so many other...More
My friends were dead set on making a side trip to try a cronut. I hesitantly went along, not quite understanding what the big deal was. When we arrived there was a long line outside the bakery. It didn't move super fast but eventually we...More

What is a cronut. A cronut is the result of an angel cutting a round piece out of heaven and delivering it to humans. It is the most delightful treat ever! In actuality it is a donut croissant. they use thin layers of dough and fry it up like a donut. I wish I could post pictures here as I have pictures of me enjoying one. Different places copy them but only Ansels in NYC make the original. And yes the earlier post is true that you can wait in a long line only to be told they are sold out for the day but if you pre order and pay for the day you are going there, you can go right up to the cash and tell them you are picking up your order and it is guaranteed to be waiting for you. They usually have flavors of the month so there is usually some flavor of cream in it or on top. Ok, I have to stop talking about it now or else I will be booking a flight to NY just to get one!
