Weird outside decor but inside is very cool. Small menu but that isn't a bad thing at all. Their service was a little slow as I had to ask someone to send our waiter over 3 different times before he actually came. Salmon dish was...solid. Brussel sprouts were very fire.More

We sampled several cocktails including the Fig Sazerac, Manhattan on tap, Old Fashioned and Negroni. All were excellent! We also savored the grilled octopus and calamari appetizer, the ricotta gnudi with lobster, the impossible burger and a side of brussel sprouts. The gnudi was so...decadent and delicious. Brussel sprouts were the best I’ve had. Service was very attentive and the staff were all wonderful. I love the horse themed ambiance!More

We had a great dinner a couple days before Christmas. The service was fast and the drinks/food were outstanding. I’d highly recommend it. We had the flank steak and a couple of Mules and it was absolutely outstanding.

Was seated right away and greeted by a cordial server. Food took a very long time and as mentioned in headline it was yummy, but SHOCKINGLY small portions for the same price you'd pay for a normal sized portion. This was a return visit but...alas, I shall not go back again unless I hear they increased portion sizes. We left hungry.More

Ahead of a theater production just down the block, we had dinner at S&P. Two of is got their Impossible Burger, which turned out to be impossible to differentiate from an actual beef burger of the finest quality. It was truly rich, juicy and delicious....The others in our party got real burgers, which were similarly great. At roughly $27 a head, they better be! The dining space was attractive and warm. Ot was quiet when we started at 5:30 and gradually got to a full roar by the time we left. The cocktails were exotic and tasty.More

This place is outstanding from the minute you walk in the door until you walk out. The service is amazing. The entire wait staff is so friendly and knowledgeable regarding their menu and can answer any questions with accuracy. Definetly start out the meal with...a cocktail. We each ordered a different one and then shared as no one could make up their minds as they all sounded so good! Their suggestions and wine pairings help make the perfect meal. I can’t say enough about the Mushroom Mousse and the 3 steak platter. The presentation is enough to give it 10 stars right there. Every steak was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. You must round off the meal with the Campfire S’mores. One would think they were roasted over a campfire on Bleecker! Don’t let the laid back atmosphere fool you. This is a true fantastic NY dining experience.More

Tuesday evening dinner. Outside is not desperately inviting but interior decor is stylish and different. Limited menu is always a good sign to me, it means they do a few things very well and this is the case here. The food was superb, I had...Wagu Steak with the charred Brussel Sprouts - this was absolutely divine flavour and nothing I’ve tasted elsewhere. Great selection of cocktails and wine list - the Manhattan was something special.More

This was our first visit here on a June weekend. You very much need a reservation -- it was quite packed when we arrived at our reservation time and were seated in a fairly crammed dining room. The decor featured a horse theme (the restaurant...is named for two race horses) and to me had a bistro feel. Even though it was a bit noisy and there were a lot of fellow diners, we still felt comfortable. We had an enthusiastic server, and we decided to go for the "tasting menu." I put that in quotes because we've had a lot of tasting menus in various places and we love them. But usually a tasting menu involves a lot of little servings of foods. This was more like a bunch of full-sized dishes that just kept coming! They were all very delicious (I particularly loved the gnudi and am planning another visit just for those), with the exception of the s'mores dessert which stuck out as tasting "pre-fabbed." All in all, though, we had a great dinner with good service. Outside of wanting to repeat a few of the items we had that night, the server was talking to my hubby about some brunch items he was excited about, so we may have to do that soon!More

Met family and friends for an excellent meal. 'Holy Cow' beef selection was amazing and good raw selection. Atmosphere was loud and buzzy but suited our mood. Only issue was when booking we were told we would have to be out by 2030 which was...a rush and felt a bit awkward. However in the end they didnt rush us out and we stayed for three and half hours - and had a bill to match so wise decision on their part!More
