Pastries and cookies are good, but not a very big selection. It's a quiet little place with about 7 steps to climb and I don't believe I remember seeing it was handicap accessible. If you want delicious french pastries go to Ceci Cela on Delancey...More

just moments from where I was staying I initially went in to see what they had and saw that they had salmon salads with quinoa which was perfect for me for $10. Their cakes looked nice too but I opted for a scone. I went...More

I visited on a Sunday afternoon, but I can imagine this as a great place to bring a date after a meal, and enjoy a coffee and dessert. My visit enjoyed an iced Americano, and an individual cheesecake. The quality was all there (you could...More

Title sums this place up. Some of the chocolates looked absolutely superb. However the macarons were not very nice at all and really not somewhere I would make an effort to go back to.

A beautiful shop with some of the best French pastry around. Lots of temptations. You can even sit and savor your treat at one of the small tables.

Stopped in to Payard's today. Everything looked fresh and delicious. I bought many things but what I just ate, and could not stop to take a photo, was the blueberry cake. It was delicious with layers of flavor. The Easter chocolates were adorable and I...More

Is a very sad situation when you realize that all the effort of the owner / chef are completely destroyed by the customers service. I really appreciate the almond brioche and pear tarte , unfortunately the cappuccino was not a cappuccino and the latte awful....More

Perfection! Well, I guess a one word review does not truly explain the joy you experience when you walk in the door of this quaint bakery. There is truly attention to detail in everything they design. If you are anywhere in NYC, you MUST make...More

Just a great place for a almond croissant, coffee, maybe soup. Visiting over the holiday and loved the chocolate, books, and goodies from the bakery. Looks like a lot of locals eat here so I want trip advisor travelers to learn about this place.

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
