First trip to NY and this place fit the bill for "hole in the wall" yumminess and fun. Delish, unique, and well worth a visit.

Breakfast at Johny's did not disappoint. Small in size, but big in quality. Our breakfast was cooked to perfection, everything tasting great and fresh. Other patrons sitting along the counter suggested their fav with us, but couldn't emphasize everything was a good here. A great place to fuel up for a day's outing whether sightseeing or going about daily life.

Cozy and unique the breakfast offerings delivered at a reasonable price. No frills to be sure, but being right on the counter with short-order cooks building delicious creations is a great NYC experience.

We sauntered in here on a Monday morning in July 2016. The place is 12 feet wide and 35 feet deep. The counter seats about 14 and there is a small counter height table for 4 in the back. I especially like the way Johnny makes everyone stand up and slide down the bar moving their plates with them to... More

Very small diner that seats less than 15 people. Pancakes and potatoes are superbly delicious. Quick no-nonsense New York style service.

This is a small luncheonette that has a walk up carry out window as well as seating at the counter. We were looking for place that offered breakfast all day long, but they also have sandwiches, etc. We ordered a bagel / cheese / egg sandwich, banana pancakes, and the 'big man's breakfast'. It was good, fast, and reasonably priced.

Less then ten seats, great menu, very efficient, the smell of a great NY breakfast bar: three pancakes with a chocolate chip, butter and marble syrup. Coffee or tea included.

We visited on Thursday and were made to feel very welcome, excellent breakfasts all round, free coffee before 1130. A true new York diner experience. Host spoke excellent British too "cheers mates!" 😀 Highly recommended.

Johny's is an absolute gem. Its tiny, and busy, so you might have to wait a bit, but boy is it worth it! If you think of a classic american diner in NYC, you're thinking of this place. The service was efficient, but friendly with a proper big apple charm! The great thing about this place is you watch them... More

A small diner with excellent food and service. A doorman at Hotel Eventi recommended this place for breakfast and it was a little gem, highly recommend it. It is small but busy.
