I ordered 3 sandwiches today at lunch for myself & coworkers the order was placed 11:20 am I got there 11:32 and they kept telling me it’s almost ready at 12:11 I left. The chick in the front was useless I told her go check...on the order she only went after the 3rd time & I wasn’t nice that 3rd time. She left to check on the sandwiches & I guess she disappeared with them, she didn’t return to me I left horrible service!More

The worst place ever! if i can give zero stars, i would. they will try to kick you out if you wear certain outfits such as a tank top if you are a gay male, but woman can walk around half naked. they treated my...gay friend with disgusting homophobia. it’s truly saddening. this place will scam you if you have an open tab, double charge and use the most expensive liquor to charge you but then water down your drink! they charge you for a brand new hookah when you ask for a charco refill. the customer service is extremely horrible!! the waitress never comes to check on you, you literally have to walk around looking for her. i do not recommend you to go here if you are trying to have a good night out. this all happened in one night to my friends and i. also, they will try to keep your id and say they don’t know where it is. very suspicious! take your money and identity elsewhere if you want to keep it.More

The nightlife here at Friday happy hour is not to be believed. It's ladies night and boy is it hoppin'! Women can have a frosty refreshing margarita that packs a punch from the minute go! The music is lively, the food really tasty. People are...friendly. It's a great salsa vibe.More

Came here recently for dinner, ordered ox tail, it was excellent, everything was fine, just did not like the fact that 18% tip was automatically added to my bill and charged to my credit card without me having a say. What if I felt my...server deserved less or more? Maybe I wanted to leave my server the tip in cash? I have been in many a restaurants way more fancier than this place and NEVER had I been forced to pay a tip not of my choosing unless I was in a party of 6 or more. I enjoyed the food immensely but I will NOT return because of this automatic tip added to my bill.More

Good location, unfortunately the food is horrible and so is the service. The drinks are okay. The place can do a lot better if they change staff and not let it get so overly packed.

Took my husband for a quick bite before an MSG event. EXCELLENT spanish food!!! the decor isn't all that, narrow restaurant with tables and a DJ in the back. didn't experience the "night life" but the food was delish!! will come again.

This place was amazing! My husband and I were looking for a place to smoke hookah and found this place near our hotel. To our delight it turned out to be the BEST night spot we visted in NYC! The hookah is sooo good, awesome...drinks, and DJ Leslie was on point all night! Our server Mahony was extremely friendly and helpful. She checked up on us frequently making sure we had all we needed. Service was quick and precise. The manager Yineidy was so nice and helpful as well. Recommending them to all our friends and will definitely visit on our next trip to NYC!!More

This is a great place to have fun, dance, drinks. I've never eaten here but they have many patrons that do. I really have a blast every time I go. The security guard on Friday night at the front does a great job. He makes...sure everyone is taken care of and everything is kept in order.More

Cafe Nunez has a relaxed atmosphere while making scrumptious food with large portions. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food!😄

We ordered the pork chops which comes with rice & beans. The pork chops were clearly over-cooked, very brittle and hard with no seasoning at all. They had an after taste that convinced us that these were days old and refried to recondition and resell...day after day. These were some of the worst pork chops we've ever had. We also ordered strawberry shakes which turned out to be over-priced and small. I had to ask that a bit of sweetener be added. Beware that they also add the tip to the check and don't point that out.More

The first thing that I have to mention is that the service is extremely slow and I had to get up from my seat to locate the waitress and get her attention. I never should have given her a twenty percent tip. She deserved no...tip at all. The food was only fair and the portions were large and the price reasonable. We ordered two appetizers but she only bought one. We had to wait about fifteen minutes for the second one to arrive which is unacceptable. She bought both entrees at the same time as the second appetizer and we had to leave one entree on a nearby table as our table was very small For these reasons I will never go back to this restaurant again. Also, the drinks which cost $12.00 each was very weak and not enjoyable. The chicken soup however was very goodMore

We were walking by looking for a breakfast place and a man with a sign full of breakfast specials pointed us towards the door. The food was delicious. I am looking forward to going again the next time we visit NYC.

I went to Cafe Nuñez and it was a disaster. The food is terrible and the service is a horrendous. We disliked both the appetizers and the entrees. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money on this place. There are many...Latin American restaurants throughout the city that have food that's worth your money. Cafe Nuñez is simply awful.More
