I am quite impressed with Victory Garden. It's probably up there in favorite dessert places in NYC. Goat milk. That's their not-so-secret ingredient. Both gelato and soft serve here are based on goat milk and, yes, they're good. The flavors are delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the taste is on point.

Wow - incredible ice cream that is healthy for you! I will admit..the prices can be pricey. But even the kid's size cup is enough for an after dinner treat. Check out their small freezer as well - a few of the flavors were Buy 1 Get 1 Free! Love that this ice cream is OK for the lactose intolerant.... More

I am so glad this place is still around as I haven't been in probably 4 years. The yogurt is so good - especially the salted caramel.

Very tastefull soft ice creams. Chocolate with rosemary and salted caramel ice cream, made from goatmilk. A fantastic combination. Deserves a visit for ice cream lovers.

When I'm craving frozen yogurt downtown this is where you'll find me. I can feel less guilty as it's made with goat's milk (healthier and less fatty) and it just hits the spot. Love it! Chocolate is my go to flavor and its a nice treat on a sunny day.

The froyo here is unique - it is goats milk. We tried the straight up goats milk and the halva flavours. Both were amazing, but the natural flavour of the goats milk one the day for us. Best froyo hands down. We will come again and try other flavours in the future. Their blondies were also good.

Delicious Goat's milk ice cream. They have 4 different flavors available that they vary from day to day. I tried a regular sized cup of salted caramel and it was very good! Prices are reasonable too!

I thought it was an interesting idea to make froyo with goat milk, but it wasn't my thing. Others say you don't taste the goat milk but I did. We tried the salted caramel and added halvel (sp) as a topping - tasted really good but I personally would go for froyo instead. With that said, it was definitely worth... More

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
