Our meal was delicious, the service was very quick with the host being super efficient. A excellent variety on the menu, I would highly recommend.

I am walking around the TIMES SQUARE AREA and needed to have lunch before returning to my hotel. The location is great and the service good and respectful while being timely. Being a pub it has a good selection of brew both on tap as...well as canned. My lunch today is one of the daily specials which is filet of flounder stuffed with crabmeat, rice and mixed vegetables. The flounder is well prepared and the vegetables are freshly prepared. For visiting tourists in NYC in the TIMES SQUARE AREA here is a good choice for a reasonable meal. Just a couple tables down a family with a child and also as I was being seated a couple with a little tike were enjoying their lunch,More
Good conversation and great atmosphere... worth the visit. Friendly staff and patrons make it a great place to relax.
Was advised to visit this pub and was not disapointed, clean, friendly straff and very good food. Will def go back on my next visit
Nice wait staff and excellent traditional Irish and non Irish food. My husband left his prescription sunglasses and they were kind enough to hold them for us till we could pick them up the next day.
We were staying at the Millennium Hotel which was across the road from this pub. On our first night we saw that they had a happy hour from 4.00 to 7.00 so gave it a try. What a good choice, it did get a bit...loud inside so we asked a member of staff if we could move outside she said no problem. We had a couple of beers each which were nice and cold. We came back the next night after a long walk and was welcomed by the owner who said it was nice to see us back, what a nice touch. We ended coming back most nights as it was so handy for our hotel We did not eat here but all the food looked very good. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended if you want a good pint.More
Visited whilst in Times Square in New York. Friendly staff who could not be faulted. Large selection of food and drinks. Lots of televisions to watch all the sports ⚽️. Great atmosphere 🥳
Stopped here while sightseeing over Memorial Day weekend & it definitely exceeded our expectations. Dinners were great, beer selection is huge & service was excellent. Will be back next time.
Great service and great food. The nachos with salsa and guacamole were huge and the best I've ever eaten. Chicken quesadilla also delicious. This became our go to bar every night in New York.
This became our local during our recent 6 day trip to NYC. Sharon was what you would expect of a real professional barmaid…great service, great craic and great at her job. The live music on the night we were there was very good and the...one time we ate dinner it was a nice meal. Huge thanks to the team at o’donoghues for taking care of us…Team Thunder*@*@More
Just across 44TH Street from our hotel OD's was a great place for an early evening drink (Happy Hour Mon-Fri 4.00 PM- 7.00PM). After trying it one evening, thanks to the welcome that we received from Sharon we went back on a number of occasions...for drinks and dinner. For a pub so close to Times Square the Happy hour drinks, although limited in choice, were good value, $5.00 for a pint of draught Bud Light and a near full glass of very palatable Cabernet for slightly more, everyone in our party were more than happy. Food was great, recommend the ribs. As with many US bars it can get rather noisy inside with the music loud which hindered conversation. Fortunately we were able to drink outside in their temporary (presumably Covid related) structure. If our hotel across the street ever gets its act together and finally renovates, we will be back next time in NYC.More
Went there for drinks late one night and enjoyed the fiddle player. Went back for lunch on a Saturday and had so-so fish and chips
Went here on April 2022, went in for an eveing meal, which wasnt too bad, nothing exceptional though, it was early and very busy, but the pub was very noisy and we couldnt hear each other speak. The server even commented on that saying it...was too much as it was early but didnt say anything to the group of drunks. We got up to pay and paid the full amount and added a tip, the sever then complained that the tip was not included with the payment, and took offence at the tip we had left, as far as im concerned the tipping is advisory on the amount. Their minimum is 18%, printed at the bottom of the bill, which actually made the tip more expensive than the beer we had. It was the rudeness of the server that annoyed me, we ended up leaving $10 as a tio, but definately not worth it.Overall i wouldnt recommend this place, there are a lot of other great places to eat and have a drink.More
Just off of Times Square, this was just perfect for what we needed. We found it by accident after traipsing around trying to get a bite to eat as we’d arrived that evening and all the restaurants we tried had a 40 minute wait. We...managed to get a table and we’re served quickly. The food was nice had something for all of my family’s taste. The waitress was nice and attentive even though it was busy, she kept checking we were ok or asking if we needed anything. We ended up going back here for lunch before we left NYC as we’d liked it so much!More
7 of us spent a couple of evenings in here around the St Patrick's Day weekend, generally paid by credit card, when we got home and checked our card statements, the exchange rate they gave us against the pound was 1-20, whereas the other bars...and restaurants was 1-30. This was in addition to a credit card surcharge. Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a maskMore
