Six of us arrived here during the hottest weekend in memory, after sightseeing all day. We were hot, tired, hungry and thirsty! They sat us in a secluded corner, and pretty much kept us fed and watered for the better part of three hours. The food was fresh, and served quickly. The drinks were cold and plentiful, and our server... More

Stumbled across this place after parking in a nearby garage. Cute little place, clean, very friendly staff. Food was good, arrived at 11:30 AM and ordered from the brunch menu. For NYC the prices were cheap. Huge burger and fries $13 US, delicious Reuben sandwich and fries $15 US. can likely get noisy there when it gets crowded but a... More

Found this lovely bar near Times Square, just stopped in for a cold pint of Guinness on a very hot day in New York, needless to say we didn't want to leave! The Guinness was cold and very nice and we were served by Peter who was brilliant and friendly, so of course we stayed for another!!

Just off Times Square, this Irish themed pub is finished in dark woods and low lighting. Although busy, we were shown quickly to a table, presented with menus, and drinks orders taken straightaway. Since we were from out of town, our friendly waitress was happy to recommend a good local beer. Food arrived quickly, very good quality and generous portions.... More

We were in to see Mathilda & wanted to be close to the theater, the deli next door had no bathrooms so we chose O'Donoghue's. It wasn't very busy, we wanted to sit at the lower tables & chairs that are in the back but the smells emanating from the restrooms drove us to the front. We were a party... More

Today I experienced the best Ruben I have ever eaten served by the most attentive and friendly Irish waiter I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Peter, our lovely Irish waiter, was so friendly and efficient. The sandwich itself was tender, juicy, hot with gooey melted Swiss, and the hottest and crispest french fries to accompany it. Add a... Just wanted to have a cocktail after returning from Ball game and this was across street from Millinnuem Broadway Hotel where we were staying. The bartender was very pleasant and we enjoyed our cocktail.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
